vehicle listed on website for price for vehicle having negative record (clean title, no accidents, etc). This was based off of Experian autocheck. When pulling up the experian autocheck form, there was ve negative record (clean title, no accidents, etc). This was based off of Experian autocheck. When pulling up the experian autocheck form, there was very minimal records even documented. Important to note, this vehicle is 6 years old. I asked for the carfax instead, the carfax showed way more documentation from service records, odometer readings, etc. Well...the carfax also showed the vehicle had been in two accidents with one reporting SEVERE UNDERCARRIAGE damage. The dealership denied knowing this info ahead of time and refused to come down on their original price because "we don't use carfax here" (per salesman). They reported their service department had already inspected the vehicle and found nothing wrong. Keep in mind this was an inspection done prior to knowing the vehicle had been in two accidents. They messed up and didnt want to eat the cost, instead wanted to put their mistake on the customer to eat. The vehicle was also missing a seat...they claimed it was not supposed to have another seat, ironic because even their website listing included the seat (because that make and model always has that extra seat). They shrugged it off like it wasn't a big deal. *important* I asked them if they would tell any future customers inquiring about the vehicle that the carfax shows it has been in two accidents...they said "only if the customer ask for it" Two lessons learned: 1.don't shop at this dealership, 2. always ask for the carfax even if they use a different autocheck company! More
