Pete Moore VW - Well Worth the Drive! I was looking for a low mileage PT Cruiser Convertible GT (which are getting very difficult to find.) Pete Moore VW actually had one in their used ca I was looking for a low mileage PT Cruiser Convertible GT (which are getting very difficult to find.) Pete Moore VW actually had one in their used car department that was in great shape. I called for information and was assisted by Mark Torelli - What a great guy. I told him that I don't like the haggling game and to give me his best shot. Mark came back with a great price so my wife and I made the 4.5 hour drive the next day. The car was beautifully detailed and waiting for our final inspection when we arrived and was exactly as Mark described. The car drove great, we purchased it, had lunch on the beach and headed home. Unfortunately we experienced a failure on the way home. I called Mark, he jumped into action and got Louis Trotta involved. They picked up the car and offered us a loaner. Then they worked with Chrysler to resolve the issue, tested it completely and shipped it to my door. I am extremely amazed at the level of customer service and the desire to make sure their customers are satisfied and taken care of . . . especially these days. I would gladly make that 4.5 hour drive the next time I am in the market for a vehicle and also HIGHLY recommend Pete Moore VW to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. Well, friendly and courteous staff who go out of there way to please you. I talked with Mark Torelli new car salesman and Jeff Korel new car manager on my deal which were done by e-mails with pictures of my trade in, and they gave a great offer on the trade in as well as a low price on the new car. Mark Torelli called me on 10/3/2014 and said be there on 10/4/2014 by 10: 30 am. I arrived at 10:00 am. Mark meet me and said the car wasn't there yet and he made a mistake thinking it was there. Jeff Korel came over and said they had personnel there in Huntsville Al. to pick it up but the dealer didn't have the make ready done yet. So Mark and Jeff sais they would put be in a hotel at their expense and feed me and the car would be there around 6:00 pm and I could take delivery then and drive back home at my convenience. I went to the finance department and meet Aaron Eblen. and filled out what I could, since my wife wasn't there to sign Aaron Eblen gave me a FEDX pre-paid envelope to take back to Houston Tx. My wife could sign her part and return. The whole transaction took about 30 minutes. I drove my car to the hotel and returned to the dealer at 6;00 pm an took delivery. Left Pensacola Fl. 10/5/2014 at 2:00 am to return to Houston Tx. This is why I only buy cars from Pete Moore in Pensacola Fl. Give them a try, I am sure they well earn your business, you have nothing to lose but a little time and it might save you a lot of dollars. More

I think the direct discussion with the sales manager on the price took about 20 seconds, the deal price got the nod from the power that be and I was on my way in a short time afterwards. The service dept worked on my other VW and the effort of their mechanic and service advisor (Rich Lord) (and service dept mgr) along with discussion with the general manage (Lou) cemented the idea this VW dealer's reputation, skill set and communication level is far above other VW dealers. Somewhat long story version: I'm not a resident of Pensacola nor do I live in the surrounding areas. I purchased my other VW elsewhere (about 100 miles away, from my hometown dealer) but encountered a serious problem with the car on its maiden voyage as I approached Pensacola. After bringing the car into service, I was promptly greeted by one service advisor and handed off to Rich Lord (service advisor) as I explained the problem. The car was promptly brought into one of the service bays to start diagnostics. Rich regularly updated me about the status. After it was determined the problem could not be fixed in a short amount of time, a loaner was provided and I was on my way to my eventual destination, about 200 miles away. Throughout the repair over the next few days, Rich always kept me informed of the findings, the solution and the testing. After witnessing the high level of service at Pete Moore VW, I knew I made a mistake not buying my new car from them. Service after the sale is important, and Pete Moore delivers it in spades. If you had bad experiences with other dealer's service department, think the opposite for this dealer. While my now previous car was in the garage for the initial diagnosis, I spoke with the general manager (Lou) and after a brief discussion with him, I definitely regretted buying my other VW elsewhere (to be honest, never thought buying a car from a dealer more than a 100 miles would be worth it - but my lesson says it is so worth it!). An opportunity presented itself and I purchased another VW Passat TDI; this time from Pete Moore VW. It was absolutely painless, effortless and entirely great. I entered the showroom, met Lou (general manager) and Jeff (sales manager), talked priced for about 20 seconds for the car on the showroom floor and after the power that be gave approval of the deal, Gary DeStefano was introduced to handle the paperwork. The sales team is very knowledgeable, extremely professional, and quick to handle paperwork. Gary had the car prepped and fueled while the finance guy ran thru the paperwork. Afterwards, Gary introduced the new Passat and its features in a very thorough and professional manner. This is my fourth VW in 4 years and I never experienced the thorough and professional skill set of a sales team like that of Pete Moore VW. Gary was terrific. I'm very happy the latest VW was purchased from Pete Moore VW. This car will be serviced at Pete Moore VW and while I'm not expecting any difficulties from this new car, there is lots of comfort in knowing should there be any difficulties encountered, the service department will get it fixed right and good the first time. If you live in the FL Panhandle, lower AL and MS, you will not find a better VW dealer for sales and their commitment to after sales service, in my humble opinion. Treat yourself to a great buying experience followed up with an excellent service department - talk to Gary to start the process. More
