Worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. After we agreed on price and terms, the terms magically changed when we went to sign and close everything. I successfully negotiated extended warrant After we agreed on price and terms, the terms magically changed when we went to sign and close everything. I successfully negotiated extended warranty on the car and was ensured the warranty would start on my purchase date. After my credit was pulled and when we we’re signing everything, that the warranty would start when the car was manufactured (4 years ago). I caught it right at the end. The complete opposite of what the sales rep, the sales manager and I agreed to. I confronted the sales manager and his response to me was, “there must have been confusion and you can take it or leave it.” I tried to call the sales rep over but was told that he got “sick” and went home as soon as he passed me along to the sales manager. Mind you that he was completely healthy, in good spirits when we drove the car. Complete lack of honesty and terrible business practices at Maus Nissan ( at least the one in New Port Richey) Avoid at all cost!! More
