PROS: Had the exact Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Silverado 1500 Crew Cab LTZ trim w/ 3.0L Duramax in Northsky Blue Metallic I was searching for. Sales rep, Harold Solano, was a true pleasure to work with--helpful, no pressure, easy negotiation, great communication. Comfortable waiting area, where I spent almost 90 mins waiting for finance. CONS: Tires were prefilled with nitrogen with $150 fixed dealership charge--I don't want/need nitrogen but what can I do, request that they empty & refill with air? Ikon vehicle tracker system installed by dealership due to theft in the area, not removed and purchase cost passed on the buyer; I was advised by sales that it is a one time lifetime service cost, but in finance I asked and was told that it is for a two year service subscription. Again, not happy with this being applied and presented as non-negotiable, as well as initially misrepresented. Truck had 29.8K miles at purchase, and came from Arizona desert; CPO Inspection & Reconditioning report states that the only maintenance performed by the dealership was an engine oil & filter change; fuel filter service schedule is 30k but was not serviced. Report also states Battery Voltage reading as "12V" with no service required or completed; 12.0V is a 45-50% state of charge...100% state of charge is 13.0V for AGM, 12.6V+ for sealed lead acid. I've tested the battery multipe times since and it is typically between 12.7-12.8V, so I'm satisfied that it won't leave me stranded, but the tech that performed/completed this inspection, as well as the Service mgr and used vehicle mgr need to pay attention to the service they are providing and approving. I'm a California buyer that paid cash (including their purchase of my vehicle) but dealership withheld sales tax and title, requiring me to forward completed Cal DMV documentation before forwarding the tax and title to Cal DMV--purchased vehicle Jan 2, now Feb 27 and still don't have plates, registration nor title in my possession. This is a slow and cumbersome process that unnecessarily burdens the buyer. Last note, I was presented and signed the CPO Inspection & Reconditioning Report by the sales rep, but some how the this document did not get placed in the envelope with the rest of the documentation. I found this error on Feb 9 when I went to review service records. I contacted the dealership on that date and have had to contact them weekly for an update since. I finally received it today, after the matter was escalated to the Finance Mgr by my sales rep, Harold Solano. A special thanks to Harold Solano for his overall assistance and great communication throughout this purchase. Also, my thanks to the Finance Mgr, Sterling Smith, who was able to retrieve and forward the CPO document in one day! More

A price was offered on my trade in and the 2025. I went home to sleep on it. I called back the next day we negotiated a better deal on the 2025 and the rest is history. Corwin Buick Reno is the dealership experience we all wish we could have 100% of the time. I'm in California but I fell in love with a used car on their site. For three weeks, Harold took the time to ema wish we could have 100% of the time. I'm in California but I fell in love with a used car on their site. For three weeks, Harold took the time to email back and forth with me to answer every single question I had and send me pictures and videos of the car. When I finally made the decision to go pick up the car, he even offered to pick me up from the airport. Every single person at the dealership had a warm smile and a friendly attitude and it felt like they were there to support my buying a car, instead of the bully-into-purchase that I have usually experienced at other dealerships. Harold took me for a great, long test drive that allowed me to get a great feel for the car on different road types and speeds. The MOST important part to me is that their car inspection process is thorough and caring and they make sure the cars they are selling are in great condition and safe to drive. The 20 year old car I bought had an updated suspension and new belts and pumps, all repairs that were done by Corwin before they put the car out for sale. It drives like a dream now. Harold and the fellas were also extremely easy to talk to and they were happy to give me a fantastic deal when the time to buy actually came. It felt like I just went to Reno to hang out with friends and just happened to get my dream car out of it. The car itself is incredible! I drove it home through the winter storm I Tahoe and it handled like it was a brand new car instead of 20 yrs old. It has been a week and I'm still gushing about the whole experience, not to mention my excitement about my dope car. I fully plan to fly back to Corwin Buick Reno the next time my family buys a car.
