Update: The car would not start and cannot be jump started. This is exactly one week after the purchase. ........ Ted was respectful and patient. However, we did experience an issue related to the p started. This is exactly one week after the purchase. ........ Ted was respectful and patient. However, we did experience an issue related to the paint not done on the scratches as per the written agreement with the dealership. We had an agreement in writing to paint on the scratches but this agreement was not honored. We texted Ted no less than 4 times regarding this issue. Finally, we were told that the manager Nate will personally handle this issue as Ted is unable to have them do it for us. We specifically requested a call back from Nate. We did not receive any calls back. We did bring this issue to the attention of another manager Luis, who said that we will be contacted by the service department or by Nate to do the paint. We were not contacted by Nate or the service department regarding the paint. A second issue that we faced was brakes making noise a few days after purchase. We were told by Tom Sharpe (in service) that the brake rotors were changed from the original Honda OEM rotors to aftermarket rotors right before the purchase (not by Honda according to Tom) and that these replacement rotors are slotted rotors of a lower quality that are known to create noise and that they are more likely to cause issues with brake pads wearing quickly. We were never told about this issue AT ALL when purchasing the car. Instead, we were told that the car was inspected and that there was nothing mechanically wrong with the car. A third issue was related to a missing key. Ted handled this generally well but only after we asked for a replacement key. Before that, we were told to stay on hold as the keys may pop up at any time. Other than the issues above, everybody we met with was generally nice and respectful. Eyad Ramadan helped us with unnecessary delays that we faced on multiple occasions. Luis helped us when the replacement key turned out not to be the right key for our car. Tom Sharpe helped us avoid unneeded delays in picking the car and explained to us that the rotors are after-market rotors that are not original. However, he also revealed to us that sales rejected to fix that issue for us because the car has been sold "as is" and because they did not consider it a safety issue. When asked about a contact person in sales who made such a determination not to fix the rotors for us, we were not given names. More
