My father has worked at a service shop for longer than I've been alive. That's what initially sparked my interest in the automotive world. Grew up at the shop with him or at the race track in Fairbury most Saturday nights. Aside from selling vehicles, I enjoy adventuring with my beautiful wife, playing video games, and making memories that last a life time. Had an amazing experience buying another truck from Barker in Bloomingtod from Drake Davis. He was very knowledgeable on the product and was able to find the right Canyon for my needs. Drake and Matt were awesome and it was a pleasure doing business with them. Very friendly and easy to talk to, but also very professional. Never felt like they were using a “customer service-voice” with me, which I appreciate. Most customers appreciate authenticity, which they obviously understand. Their experience in customer engagement is apparent. It was a very painless, interaction and very straightforward. I would recommend Barker 10/10 times without a doubt. Hopefully I won’t need to car shop for a very long time but when that time comes, I’ll be going right back to them. The love I have for this new car grows every time I sit in it. My wife and I have been looking around at vehicles for months. I wish that we would have stopped by sooner. Friendly staff, very easy to work with. I arrived on time for the appointment and was seen to right away. Drake was kind and helpful. I was disappointed that the dealership would not come down any on the price of the used vehicle I bought from them. It was really well priced, so I c I was disappointed that the dealership would not come down any on the price of the used vehicle I bought from them. It was really well priced, so I can’t complain too much. I had hoped they could throw in a few free oil changes or some mats for the vehicle, but to no avail. The main disappointing thing was the service I received after I had the vehicle for 3 weeks. I had noticed some of the safety features not working. They had not worked from the time I purchased the vehicle. When I brought it in, they confirmed the front camera was not working. Thankfully I bought a warranty, but that warranty had a $200 deductible. The dealership refused to pay the $200 deductible despite it being less than 30 days since I had purchased the vehicle. In reality, the camera was likely broken at the time I purchased the vehicle. I was hoping to continue to be a customer for both their service and sales for future car purchases, but unfortunately will not be able to do so. You can likely get a well priced vehicle here, but will not receive good customer service. More
