One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a dealership. I went to destination Kia with the hope they were better than Matthew Kia. Unfortunately I was sadly mistaken. I have less than perfect c dealership. I went to destination Kia with the hope they were better than Matthew Kia. Unfortunately I was sadly mistaken. I have less than perfect credit but was still able to purchase a car here. When we first went in I was met with one sales guy who spent only 15 mins and passed me off to go help another client. I then was told I would talk to the financial manager which was again a quick 5 mins if that. I was told to come back 5 days later to pick up the car. It took forever and back and forth with the bank they got me approved with. Upon picking up the car I was setup with a new guy who was more interested in putting tape on his laptop then dealing with a client. I spent time with the finance manager who was by far the worst part of my experience there I believe his name is Andrew. I was told by this man that I should be lucky a bank approved me as I “so called had a long history of not paying people back if at all. This being said after I questioned the bank. I’ve never heard of a finance manager ever saying that to a customer face. After all they got payed almost $20,000 at the end of they day. Upon his actions I advised bother them sales manager and gm if the dealership in which they did nothing to Reprimand the manager and his disrespectful behavior and comments. And after and hour talking to the gm about him I was assured it would be taking care of since I’m still a customer and should be treated that way. I was told a gas card would be sent to help as a act of good faith to fix things. That has never happened and was also told the extended warranty I canceled would be taking care of but have no documentation sent showing that. I’ve received rude responses to my messages from Andrew who apparently still has not learned how to treat a customer. And I don’t honestly think the sales manager and general manager really cared to start off since I’ve left voicemails unanswered and givin the run around. I suggest you go somewhere else where people get treated like more then just a sale. More

Isaiah was very nice and Knowledgeable about the cars on the dealership ,Understand my needs for the car I wanted which I picked the new 2024 Kia Seltos EX with good monthly payment .This is my second Lease the dealership ,Understand my needs for the car I wanted which I picked the new 2024 Kia Seltos EX with good monthly payment .This is my second Lease cars with this dealership and never felt pressure to buy anything if I didn’t want to, thanks Isaiah and destination Kia for the good customer service and the new car I leased see you within 3 years More

UPDATED 12/22/23: After reading my review, a Service Director, Jim Almindo, reached out to me. He called me to apologize about my experience. He also called me to let me know that the part was in, and to schedule my next appointment. Yes, I still had to take a day off and return to Albany, but he offered to rotate my tires and fill my gas tank free of charge. Better yet, my driver side shock was replaced. No more clunking over every bump and turn. Makes me feel safer. All services were done in the estimated amount of time (under 2.5 hours). Thank you, Jim. EXTREMELY unsatisfied!! I called on 12/7 to confirm an appointment because I hadn't received any confirmation. I was told that everything was all set, so on 12/8 I took the day off from work and I drove from one hour away. I arrived at 9:20am for my 9:30am appointment to have my shocks replaced (under warranty). The parts had been ordered after a previous appointment we had (a whole other story that wasted my husband's time off). Upon my arrival, an associate said, "Let me call and see if we have those parts here for you." (What?) Just as I had almost expected something to go wrong, they only had one shock. The associate, Marshall, called "Matthews" to see if they had the other shock in stock. He said they did and they would have someone run to get it. I was asked if I needed a ride anywhere, and I said yes. I waited 1.5 hours in the lobby for a shuttle to the Northway Mall down the road because apparently there is only one driver, transporting people within a 20 mile radius. It was about 11:30am by the time I got to the mall. Shortly after, I received a call that they actually did NOT have the part they thought they had. Around 12:05pm I got a text that the tech noticed that the tires should be rotated and that my back brakes were low. I asked them to please only fix the shock. At 2:05pm I got another text that said "Still working on it." (I was originally told the entire process to replace both shocks would take 3-4 hours and it was now 4.5 hours.) Meanwhile, my mother drove out an hour to meet me at the mall and then drove me back to the dealership because who knows how long it would've taken for the shuttle to come back for me. I got back to the dealership around 3:30pm to be told it was almost ready to go through the car wash. I also found out the passenger side was the side that was replaced vs the driver side which was the initial problem (making a clunking noise). It wasn't until 4:00 pm that I was able to leave the dealership (6.5 hours later) and then had to drive an hour back home. I was FURIOUS, especially because I have to go back and do this all over again. The only thing the associate, Marshall, had to say was, "Sorry, but we will call you when your part comes in." Completely unacceptable!! It just ruined my entire day. More

Another outstanding service visit regarding my 2020 Kia Soul Ex! I was greeted by the gentleman, Dave Reali who is my sales professional who I purchased the car from 2.5 years ago. He then brought me over Soul Ex! I was greeted by the gentleman, Dave Reali who is my sales professional who I purchased the car from 2.5 years ago. He then brought me over to his service team Marshall and Adriana who (as they do each and every time) gave me to total “elite customer” service experience. Their professionalism, efficiency and attention to detail are unmatched. After this most recent service experience (as always) I feel valued and appreciated which once again reinforces the fact that when I originally chose Destination Kia to purchase this vehicle I definitely chose the BEST dealership. Thanks again to Dave, Marshall and Adriana!!! More
