veryone I met at Volvo cars of Silver Spring was courteous and professional. There was no sales hype, no one tried to sell me something that I didn’t want. This was the best vehicle shopping and purchasing experience I've ever had the joy of participating in. Peter Larson was my main point of contact, but as he was quick to point out, there is a whole t experience I've ever had the joy of participating in. Peter Larson was my main point of contact, but as he was quick to point out, there is a whole team of exceptional individuals who easily worked well together and supported each other all toward the customer's benefit. I made 3 visits to the dealership: the 1st two to discuss and test drive, and the 3rd to purchase and drive my new car home. During all three visits it became obvious that this team truly worked together as a cohesive unit to help ensure that my family could get the vehicle we needed, the options we wanted, and within the budget and timeframe that worked for our unique circumstances. Peter, Eric, Noah, Bruce, and Jose were professional, knowledgeable, and caring active listeners. Every other staff member I encountered on the sales floor, at the coffee machine, or even when walking in from the parking lot, all were extremely professional and helpful. This is the 2nd vehicle I've purchased from this dealership; the 1st one was nearly 4 years ago. I look forward to coming back for our family's 3rd car in a few years, and will actively recommend Peter and this team to everyone I encounter who is also looking for a new or pre-owned car. Peter, Damir and Bruce were excellent throughout our purchasing experience. The detailed explanations Peter provided about the XC90 and the Volvo brand were very thorough, and his demonstration of the v purchasing experience. The detailed explanations Peter provided about the XC90 and the Volvo brand were very thorough, and his demonstration of the vehicle’s systems, technology and integrated Google features made us even more excited about our decision. It is clear he is an expert in the Volvo brand, and his enthusiasm for the vehicles really shows. The night of our purchase, he even personally cleaned a smudge off of the windshield when we weren’t sure if it may have been a scratch (which it wasn’t). Before making our final decision on a vehicle, we had emailed back and forth with Bruce, and he was always very responsive and helpful. At the dealership, he made a point to introduce himself, thank us for choosing their dealership, and chat with us - we certainly appreciated the personal touch and check-in. When it was time to move on to our final signing, Damir was thorough in getting us through the paperwork, explaining each step of the process, and laying out options for additional packages without being pushy in the slightest. At no point did we feel pressure from anyone to make a deal that would not best suit our needs, and they made us feel completely comfortable and very excited to join the Volvo family. I would give a 6 out of 5 stars to each of them, and I will highly recommend Volvo of Silver Spring to my friends and family in the future. Fantastic experience with Volvo Cars Silver Spring. They have a large inventory, so more selection to choose from and test drive. There was zero pressure on the sales side - every step was informative and friendly, rather than pushy or sales-y. Even in the add-on discussions with the finance team, they presented us offers for the various add-ons (extended warranty, prepaid maintenance, etc.), but never did we feel pressured to have to purchase them. If we said no, they said okay. Go see Peter Larson. He was the rep we worked with and we would do so again in a heartbeat. He was incredibly detail oriented and very communicative, which we appreciated. Peter worked hard to find us every incentive possible (Volvo, Costco, A-plan, etc.). He helped us build our XC90 T8 Recharge to the exact specifications and color that my wife wanted. As we were waiting for the vehicle to be delivered to the dealership, Peter called to clearly lay out the cost of our vehicle, the various incentives, the cost of title, registration, etc. and what the final all-in cost of the vehicle was. He told us this over the phone rather than trying to hide anything to get us into the dealership - we appreciated the honesty and transparency. The entire purchasing experience very much felt like being part of a family! Couldn't recommend Volvo of Silver Spring and the MileOne auto group enough! More

I highly recommend Volvo Cars of Silver Spring and Peter Larson. I purchased my Volvo with them over Memorial Day weekend. There was one slight issue once I took the vehicle home but, I notified Peter, and Larson. I purchased my Volvo with them over Memorial Day weekend. This dealership is very professional and if any problems arise, they are very quick to get it resolved. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Peter is very professional and great with follow-up he was able to get me what I needed for my trade in so I could make the purchase with them. Will continue to buy my vehicles from this dealer as well as use their service department which I have used on my prior Volvo. More

This review is for this dealership alone and is not a review on the quality of Volvo cars. Bottom Line Up Front: The Volvo of Silver Spring will do everything in their power to keep your money, even review on the quality of Volvo cars. Bottom Line Up Front: The Volvo of Silver Spring will do everything in their power to keep your money, even when they are not legally allowed do so, and they have no problem lying to you about it. Hard hard pass. What happened? I placed a fully refundable $500 reservation deposit on an upcoming MY ’25 Volvo not yet sold in the US back in December 2023 (an EX30 for those curious). Fast forward to early April 2024, and I wound up purchasing a different vehicle from a different auto manufacturer (an Ioniq 5 for those curious), so I reached out to cancel my order and receive my refund. It took the Silver Spring dealership 3 weeks to initially respond to my request, but they said they cancelled the order and would issue the refund on April 18th. I don’t want to spoil it for you, but they didn’t cancel the order or issue me a refund on April 18th, nor on April 30th, nor on May 15th, nor on May 17th. Each of those times, and only after increasingly persistent, calls, emails, and texts on my end, did various managers swear up and down that the refund was “in process” and “it should hit your account any day now.” In other words, the modern version of “the check is in the mail.” No check or refund was in the mail, electronic or otherwise. I had to get Volvo USA involved to force the dealership to refund the $500 deposit. I called Volvo USA on May 22nd, where they opened up a case claim on my behalf and started an investigation. I know this will come as a huge surprise to everyone reading this #sarcasim, but it was only after VOLVO HQ started an investigation and forced the dealership to do what they are legally required to do was I finally issued my refund on that same day: May 22nd. Which was a full month after the Silver Spring dealership told me they had issued the refund. Uh huh. As customers spending tens of thousands of dollars on what are essentially luxury goods, we deserve a heckuva lot better than this kind of stereotypical slimy car dealers xx. But save yourself my headache and simply go to a different Volvo dealership next time you’re in the market for a Volvo. I know I will. More
