25- I went in on Friday1/17/25 and was told it would be 4 hours and I couldn’t wait that and Brent Stump asked if I could make an appointment for the next today which I did. He said to bring it in before 10. hours and I couldn’t wait that and Brent Stump asked if I could make an appointment for the next today which I did. He said to bring it in before 10. I arrived at 9:38am. I left my vehicle and by 2pm I still hadn’t heard anything from him. I sent a text message and no response. I called and was told he was assisting another customer and that he would call me back. What they didn’t know was I was on my way back to the dealership which was 10 minutes from my location. I arrived and he has his away sign up. I spoke with Katie Fuller and she pulled up my vehicle and my car apparently had not been pulled in based off what I can see from the screen. She could not confirm as I was made aware the service provider and mechanic team all to lunch at the same time. I was told Brent would be back in 10-15 minutes which was interesting since he was supposedly with a customer when I called 5 minutes prior. A nice runner assisted by trying to find out the status of my car. He came back and said it was next to be pulled in. Brent is back and I attempt to get more information and he is taking in circles. “ I can’t tell you how long it will be because we don’t know what the issue is. It could take 1.5-2 hours for the diagnostic” Ok I reminded him what she told me before I left you close at 5 what happens if you can’t resolve or fix before you close? He says “ I can’t tell you anything because I don’t know “ .. what do you mean you don’t know you close at 5 I need to know something. At this point we ask for my car back. Brent wound not provide me with any additional information or options. I asked for the manager as I wait for my car. Tom was no help as well I explained the same thing to him and he says that focus on three questions. How much, what’s wrong and how long, but he can’t tell me anything. He says they have cars from the day before and they have to service those along with the ones today. I told him you should communicate that to set better expectations and he proceeds to tell me not all diagnosing are the same. Some are shorter and some aren’t. Once I explain for the third time and asked what are my options he gives me options. I said that’s all I need we’re options this guy tells me I didn’t ask for options. How slow do you have to be as a manager to provide the customer with options if you close in 2.5 hours and the car hasn’t been serviced? I asked for his manager and he says he was the manager. Ok you answer to someone and who’s that person. He said the general manager. I had to ask for his name. I will also reach out. I am on my third Toyota and I drive out my way to Cobb County Toyota because I have always gotten great service from Austin Meeks. After today and over 10 years I will never take my car back or buy a car from this dealership. I you chose to go here the best advisor is Austin Meeks and the least desirable is Brent Stump and Tom the manager only sees you as a number and not a valued client. I waisted an entire day and nothing was accomplished. More
