My main issue was getting to a fair price. I spoke to Claude and he said he’d do just that. The first offer was the sticker price with 0 discount, and only $20K for my car. Then they tried to convince me that $20k was reasonable for my car even though I had a firm offer from Carmax for $26k, and we’d make it up on tax savings. I knew better than that, based on the Georgia tax rate. I’m pleased with the price I ended up with, and Claude was very knowledgeable regarding the vehicle. I just don’t think you should make the customer work that hard to get a fair price. More
