My time was not respected and our salesman was untruthful, and or too lazy to find the right answer. At 3pm on a Monday, my daughter replied to a text from salesman, Francisco Baez, who sent a untruthful, and or too lazy to find the right answer. At 3pm on a Monday, my daughter replied to a text from salesman, Francisco Baez, who sent a link for a used Honda Civic they had recently posted. She asked if they would sell it for $12k with her trade. He said yes. She told him we were interested and would be there in an hour to pick it up. Upon arrival we waited about 20 minutes for Francisco to retrieve the vehicle so she could test drive it. She liked the car and told him we want to buy it. We went back to his desk. He offered us a beverage from the snack bar and disappeared. Eventually he came back with papers to sign. As I am reading through to see what I'm signing, I note that the wrong vehicle is printed on the form. Francisco fiddles with his laptop and goes away again to retrieve the corrected paperwork. Then he collects insurance info and drivers license and disappears to make copies. Then he collects documents for the trade in and disappears again to make copies. I ask each time how much should I write the check for and he assures me he will have that figure when he returns, but he does not. It is now getting close to 6pm. I want to get home and cook supper. Francisco tells us that we won't be able to take the car tonight because it has not gone through inspection in the service department yet. We ask when will the car be ready. Remember, at 3:30pm we told him we wanted to pick the car up today. Apparently he didn't check to see if that would be possible- or he knew but didn't tell us for fear we would back out? He says we will be able to pick up the car in the morning, so I request to complete the sales transaction now so that I can drop off my daughter on my way to work in the morning and she can take her car home. Francisco disappears for a while again. When he returns, he says we have to go talk to Jason in Finance. I'm not financing the car; I'm paying cash. Jason's job is to try to upsell us a warranty. We don't want the extra warranty. I finally Hand over a check sometime after 630pm, but we leave without a car. We return at 915am Tuesday morning. I am already late for work, but guess what? The car isn't ready. But we are treated to breakfast from the snack bar while we wait. And wait. After about an hour, Francisco tells us the car is in Detailing. We say there is no need to spend a lot if time on thar. The car was clean when we saw it yesterday and it's getting late. After another hour, Francisco tells us the car needs some minor parts that service has ordered and it will be just a little longer. I say I am going to ask Service how much longer because now it is about 11am. I have lost a half day of work. My daughter still needs to go home and get ready to go to work for her second shift job. We need to leave if I am going to drive her back to my house to get my spare car so she can drive to her house to get ready for work and make it on time. Daughter asks if they can loan her a car to run home, then she can stop back on the way to work and switch. Francisco disappears for a while again. Then he leads us to the service desk where they offer to RENT us a car. I protest and they agree to charge it to Sales. There was a snag in the rental process because my daughter had been dropped from my insurance when her last car was taken off, so I had to drive the rental to work and she drove my car home. When I got to work, I straightened out the insurance and we swapped cars so she could pick up her Honda. Mind you, I lost 5 hours of work time that day. Then Francisco called her and said her car wasn't ready. So finally, she got her car on Thursday. If Francisco had told us Monday afternoon that the car wasn't ready to take home, I would have left a deposit and waited patiently to make an appointment to close the deal and pick up the car. Instead, I am livid that he was so inept and deceitful. I planned buy a car for myself but it won't be from this dealer More

The sales staff, the finance team, the managers - everyone - couldn’t be more accommodating and pleasant! Will definitely be doing repeat business and recommending to everyone! Great trade in value for my vehicle, great price on my new car, what else can I say? The only downside is they can’t keep cars on their lot- if you see one you like and they have it- buy it immediately because it wont be there for very long!! Buy your next vehicle at Toyota Scranton - you won’t be disappointed! More
