They charged me 112 dollars diagnose fee even though they did not find any issue and they made up some ridiculous reason to get more money from me. When I said no to them, they broke my car!!! I send my 2012 Jetta there to check the electric circle issue early this week, because the front light turned on by itself during the night and it dried out the battery. First day I went there, I was told my car was fine. They checked the battery and everything was fine. They said I probably left the light open. Second day morning, the same situation happened and I send my car to the service again. This time, they told me that they spend two hours and could not find any issue there. They confirmed that my battery is fine again and they said they would charge me 112 dollars diagnose fee and they wanted to leave the car there over night and spend two more hours tomorrow. The third day morning, they called me said my battery failed the test. It would cause 250 to get a new one. Not mention that I have a relatively new car with original battery which could last at least five years. How come the battery is fine for the last two days and it failed at the last day when they need an excuse to send my away. I still paid the 112 dollars diagnose fee even though they found out nothing. When I got my car back, the driver side window could not be open or close automatically. When I turn off the engine, there used be a sound to remind you if you forgot to turn off the light. And this is not working too. I will never go their again and I definitely do not recommend anyone go there. More

Pierre Saliba met my husband and I at the door. He was both friendly and down-to-earth, which we liked. He was not pushy at all. This was exactly who I would want to deal with when choosing a car. It is a both friendly and down-to-earth, which we liked. He was not pushy at all. This was exactly who I would want to deal with when choosing a car. It is a little stressful to be without a car, and to choose one, but after doing research and talking with Pierre, he made everything easy. He even sat in the car with me and showed me how to use the features. I felt comfortable and happy with my purchase, Thanks . More

I needed my headlight replaced and had already bought the bulb but didn't have the tools to fix it. I called Colonial VW and the woman on the phone was very nice and told me to bring it right in. I went on m bulb but didn't have the tools to fix it. I called Colonial VW and the woman on the phone was very nice and told me to bring it right in. I went on my lunch break, was there under an hour and didn't have to pay for it! I was expecting some type of labor cost even though I already had the bulb. But they didn't charge me and even washed my car for me. It was a great experience and the man, Bill, I worked with was super friendly. I will definitely be going back for service in the future. More

I was shopping for a car. I stopped at colonial because it was closest to my home. I walked in and was greeted by Chris Tattrie. I explained what I was looking for, and mentioned the add I had seen for a it was closest to my home. I walked in and was greeted by Chris Tattrie. I explained what I was looking for, and mentioned the add I had seen for a lease car. He explained very simply explained that Colonial did not have that exact lease. As I got up to go, he asked if we could talk and we did. I realize that salesmen have parameters that they have to work within but they do have latitude. We talked, no pressure, and arrived at a car I liked and a situation that he could live with. As a good salesmen should do, he explained the next model up from the "Jetta S". Understanding that I had a budget figure in mind, and that I was not interested, he quickly came back to the original request. Chris showed me around the dealership, and introduced me to key people, that I might have need to be in contact with. We visited Service and then went to the finance office where I met Kathryn. Good people. As indicated in the above survey, all the "dots" i have placed in the correct spot. But "dots," do not reflect the feeling you get from people. I hope this goes beyond those dots. More

I have been a customer of Colonial Volkswagen for many years. The lease on my 2011 Jetta was due to end at the end of December, 2013.I was considering purchasing the Jetta but decided to speak with Tim Ba years. The lease on my 2011 Jetta was due to end at the end of December, 2013.I was considering purchasing the Jetta but decided to speak with Tim Barnes about the idea of leasing a new Passat. I had leased a Passat in the past.We took a test drive and Tim described the features of the car.The car seemed just right for me. I told Tim I wanted to keep my lease payment under $300.00 and I did not want to pay anything up front. The Jetta was in excellent condition with low mileage. The Jetta was inspected. Tim offered to buy the Jetta,to include my last remaining lease payment. My monthly lease payment would be under $300.00. All things considered, I was pleased with the outcome. The paperwork was completed later in the day and I drove off with my new Passat that evening. Needless to say Tim was friendly and courteous throughout our discussion. He answered all my questions to my complete satisfaction. I should also mention Bill Mcgrath and Bill Fallon in the Service Department have always provided me with excellent service. My experience at Colonial Volkswagen has been nothing but the best for many years. Fantastic service! I had the bad fortune to have my EPC light illuminate along with loss of power and rough running 250 miles from home while attending a softball tournament outside of Boston this past wee light illuminate along with loss of power and rough running 250 miles from home while attending a softball tournament outside of Boston this past weekend. The car couldn't be driven, so I had no choice but to send my daughter home to NJ with another family and have my car towed to this dealership on a Sunday. As with most dealerships, service is not available on Sunday, so I had to stay overnight and wait for the dealership to open the following day. I planned to call the dealership when service opened at 7:30 AM Monday, but Bill Fallon, a Service Advisor, beat me to the punch, calling me at 7 AM. He advised that my car would be first in for diagnosis and that it would be a priority in order to get me on my way as soon as possible. I received a call from Bill at 9 AM, not with a diagnosis, but with the news that my car was repaired (new high pressure fuel pump) and washed. I took a cab and arrived at the dealership. I was loading my bag in the trunk and Bill appeared out of nowhere with my service invoice (under warranty) and key so that I could get on my way as quickly as possible. The overall service as well as attentiveness and professionalism of Bill Fallon FAR exceeded my expectations. While my local dealer (Princeton VW) is okay, I certainly wish Colonial of Westborough was nearby as they would have gained a loyal customer for life! More

Recently my leased 2012 Jetta developed an electrical problem that was neither caused by the manufacturer nor as a result 'wear & tear' but rather by myself. It was an electrical short that was caused b problem that was neither caused by the manufacturer nor as a result 'wear & tear' but rather by myself. It was an electrical short that was caused by a defective phone charger and made worse by my desire to take it upon myself to fix the problem. Though the car was sitting in the driveway, I wasn't home but away at my daughter's soccer tournament and had all but given up even thinking that the car would be looked at by a mechanic over Labor Day weekend. I decided to call VW Roadside Assistance and after explaining my dilemma to a nice woman name Joyce (?), was elated to learn that she would be able to have the car towed directly to 'Colonial Volkswagen', the nearest dealer and the dealership from whom I had leased my car. Within a short time, the tow operator called me to confirm he was at my house and would tow the car to Colonial Volkswagen. Soon thereafter I received a call from Billy at the dealership to tell me precisely what happened, what they did to fix the problem and best of all, to tell me that my car would be ready for pickup the same day. I have had my car in for service on a few other occasions and without exception, Billy and the service folks at Colonial Volkswagen have always been pleasant, courteous, and efficient but with regard to this experience, they had taken a very stressful situation and made it virtually disappear. I have had no hesitation in recommending 'Colonial Volkswagen' to anyone who is interested in either buying or leasing a vehicle and after this experience realize their service department is incomparable as they truly go above and beyond to satisfy the customer!!!
