The service person did not make it clear there was a $240 fee for just looking at my car and the reason my door wasn’t working. Then proceeded to tell me the total would be $1000!! $240 + $300 for the part + fee for just looking at my car and the reason my door wasn’t working. Then proceeded to tell me the total would be $1000!! $240 + $300 for the part + $500 for labor. That’s absolutely ridiculous!! Then in my surprise told me “they do work for free” at the dealership. Then told me “I could always take it somewhere else”. Which is in fact what I will be doing from now on. No more oil changes, no more work, no more referring friends. More
