Mikayla, As in our prior email conversations, I have tried to explain to you in the simplest of terms that the dealership that inspected the vehicle is the one that must submit to the manufacturer for the possibility of goodwill on your behalf. Although you purchased the vehicle from us, which we are appreciate, you live over 110 miles away from our store. That is why we asked you to contact your local Subaru Dealership in Columbia Missouri for your convenience. The service manager at that store has blatantly lied to you that the selling dealer must submit the paperwork. Consider if you had purchased the vehicle on the west coast and now live on the east coast, must you return to the selling dealership for all issues with your vehicle? No ma’am, you are not required to. As I explained before, University Subaru should have written a repair order, received an estimate, and submitted the estimate to Subaru of America through the Subaru Dealer Portal. It is a process that is completed at all Subaru dealers all the time. Either the service manager there does not know how to submit it, or just doesn’t want to. As stated previously in many of our conversations, I cannot do anything for you unless the vehicle came back to us. Your vehicle is out of warranty and any goodwill repair assistance must be submitted by the dealer that inspects the vehicle at that time. My comments are not out of frustration toward you but towards University Subaru for giving you the run around on this matter. Best regards to you, Eric Harrelson Service Manager, Dean Team Subaru
