I was told to do a transmission recall update. I have never had an issues with my F250. Once I hooked up my trailer to tow a transmission error code appeared on the dash. I have to leave for work tomorrow and since it is the weekend there is no one available to help me.

HIGHLY Recommend NOT buying a used car at Newberg Ford. I bought a 2015 Subaru from them in December. Took it in to a Subaru dealership to get it inspected. There was an oil leak, long story short, the only way to fix it was to take the ENTIRE motor out, and the 2 rear wheel bearings needed to be replaced. That was a $5k + job. That took a month to get back. Drove it for 2 days and the Transmission went out. That was a $8,200 job. Spoke to the Sales manager once I found out about the leak, and got nothing but attitude from him. He just kept saying "Good thing you bought a warranty" and " I'm not sure what you want me to tell you to make you feel better". I responded with, "I'm not looking for you to make me feel better, this looks terrible on your part" I asked for a copy of the inspection report from when they took the car in on trade. There was an oil leak stated on the report, but NOT mentioned to me when I bought the car. One good thing, if you want to call it that, the finance guy INSISTED that I buy the warranty. Even after I turned it down several times. The price of the warranty somehow magically went from $6k, that was declined. Then offered to me for $2,000 or so. I have owned the car for 5 months, There has been $13,000 worth of repairs. (All covered by warranty luckily) Hopefully this is it for a while. I have made 3 car payments without even driving the car. Never got any sort of apology even. It seemed as though they don't even care that they sold me an absolute xxx. If I could give a -5* review, I would. Hopefully someone high up Newberg Ford sees this. If its happened to me, its probably happened to more people. In my opinion. STAY AWAY FROM NEWBERG FORD.

Chuck Colvin Ford: A March 2024 Nightmare from Start to Finish My recent ordeal with Chuck Colvin Ford in March 2024 was nothing short of a nightmare, marked by atrocious customer service, a rushed process, and a blatant disregard for my concerns. From the moment I stepped foot into the dealership, I was met with indifference and a palpable sense of disinterest from the sales staff. To make matters worse, the salesman, Tim, bombarded me with texts in the days leading up to my visit, creating an atmosphere of pressure and obligation. It felt as though I was being coerced into making a purchase rather than being guided through a thoughtful and considerate sales process. Once I arrived at the dealership, any semblance of professionalism went out the window. The sales staff seemed more interested in their own conversations than attending to my needs as a customer. As I expressed interest in a used vehicle, I was hurried through the process with little regard for ensuring my satisfaction or addressing any concerns I had. The paperwork was thrust in front of me without explanation or opportunity for verification. It was clear that the dealership's priority was closing the deal as quickly as possible, with no consideration for the customer's peace of mind. What's more, not once was I asked if I wanted any additional features or add-ons for the vehicle. It was as if my preferences didn't matter; all that mattered was getting me out the door with a signature on the dotted line. In hindsight, my experience with Chuck Colvin Ford in March 2024 was a cautionary tale of what happens when profit takes precedence over customer satisfaction. We had a good experience with Roberson Albany Ford. It started off with a test drove of a Xterra which Roberson allowed us to take to a private . certified mechanic on our own who advised us there might be difficulties with the trany down the line. We brought is back and then test drove a Hyundai and had the mechanic check out it's engine. It was in perfect shape....the enginie, the exterior and the interior were almost like brand new. We went back and ZACH the financière drew up the papers, giving us a very fair trade in and a reasonable purchase price. We wrote a check and drove away satisfied. We continue to love the new vehicle and apricate the care we were shown by Roberson Albany Ford, especially to a Mother and Daughter! We will DEFININATELY be returning in the future to them to purchase other vehicles as needed!

the service department up sells , went in to have tires rotated got a call that the lug nuts where rounded and there the only one s to rotate and mount the wheels on our vehicle cost me extra 90.00$ for new lug nuts that they had destroyed i have bought 7 vehicles from them in the last 20 years , Never Again !

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a vehicle there for over 90 days waiting for a back ordered part, and after several calls by myself following up with the service department, they said it would be done and ready to pick up. Went to pick the vehicle up and and the transmission was making a horrendous noise and shifting hard. Turned around and went back. Left it with them over the weekend, went and picked back up and same problem persists!!! Called the service department again and and they told me to go somewhere else because they weren't going to invest anymore time on it because they could not get it to duplicate the same problem. I've had 3 people including myself drive the vehicle and ALL have experienced the same problem. Funny they can't seem too!!!! ONE of the people that drove it for me is a MASTER TECH!!!!
