I specifically requested that Topline Credit Union be considered as a financing option, as I’m already a member and was aware of their competitive used car rates. When the paperwork was presented, I asked again if Topline had been checked, and was told it had. After leaving, I contacted my credit union and confirmed that their rates were indeed lower. I ultimately had to refinance the loan before my first payment was even made. Topline also verified that their rates had not been checked during the initial financing process.
While I’m happy with the vehicle and the overall experience, I would encourage more thorough follow-through on financing requests to avoid similar situations for future customers.
