Ron Jones of Woody Butts Automotive in Warner Robbins, Ga. Is the worst so called "General Manager" I have ever met. My daughter and I drove three hours to buy her a car. When I tried to offer him less than they wanted he got very offensive with me. I went ahead and bought the car because it was what she wanted at a good price. I paid $13,300 cash but owed about $250 of which my daughter used a debt card. The deal was done, the sales lady and gentleman doing the paperwork in finances shook our hands gave us the paperwork and said that we could leave. Less then two miles down the road I am stopped at a red light when I look at my phone, which was on silent, and I have text and messages from Ron Jones verbally abusing me telling he is going to have me arrested for stealing HIS CAR. I call to find out what was wrong and he flew into me about the card being declined I said there was a mistake they must have put the numbers in wrong we would be right back. My daughter stopped and pulled the money off of the exact same card. By this time I was very upset, I'm a very honest person and I just gave you $13,300 in cash and you think I stole a car!? I did not steal a car! I stormed into his office to give him the change that we owed and said my daughter is bringing you cash to pay the rest. When my daughter got there with the cash to pay the balance off he wanted me to apologize to him or else he was not going to let the deal go through... I have a daughter crying her eyes out, he's refusing to sale a car, he is treating me like crap, and all I did was drive three hours to buy a car... He did NOT get the apology he wanted, that's for sure. When I called the main dealership, Woody Butts Chevy, to let them know how the business is being run they didn't seem to care either. They may sell you a car one time, but they will NOT get return business treating people the way we were treated and the way we could see him, Ron Jones, treat his employees the same as he treated us like crap! Do not go to any Woody Butts dealerships!!!

In Georgia for military assignment. A handyman recommended Hamby for my vehicle's service. I needed a fuel filter replacement. I called Service and a nice lady named Brandi gave me an appointment. I went in the day of appointment at 10 a.m. and she tested my truck and wrote up my paperwork. Work was completed and at 1043 a.m. she accompanied me to the cashier. There, the cashier with initials AH was quick and very nice as well. I mentioned to her, I liked her writing pen I used to sign paperwork. She gave the pen to me! I was so pleased with the service as well as the friendly and welcoming attitude. My Suburban is new, 2023, so I won't be buying anytime soon, but I will recommend family members to buy from Hamby Automotive. The people here made my day very pleasant!!!! Thank you!!

UPDATE: Mr. Price personally helped out with my issue and resolved it accordingly. I really appreciate that my second experience was way better!! Scheduled an appointment over a month out for service. My vehicles back window is leaking. GMC Sierra 1500. Dropped off my vehicle at 8am for what I thought was an 8:30 appointment. I was sadly mistaken. I didn’t not receive any communication from the service department. Once the time hit about 2:30 in the afternoon, my wife and I were nearby so I stopped in. I asked about an update and was told that they had not even looked at my truck yet. I proceeded to leave to await a phone call. I got that phone call about 30 minutes later. I was then told that they had window assembly would need to be resealed (something that was fairly obvious when I made the appointment over a month ago). Unfortunately they ran out of sealant/solvent because “we have had to do a few of these in the past few weeks.” So not only was I out an entire day at work for absolutely nothing to be done, I now have to take it back in on Monday for it to be fixed because after they didn’t look at it all day and didn’t have the parts to fix it, they made a phone call to another store to source the parts. Something that could have/should have been done in the morning after they should have looked at my truck at the prescribed appointment time. To say I’m disappointed is underselling it. I honestly wanted to trade in that truck right then and go buy another Ford like I had before. Thanks for not much David Carter and whoever the service manager is. I will not be recommending that anyone do business with this dealership. This is my Ted Talk, a disgruntled veteran.

I live about 3 hours away from Hobson in Santa Rosa County, FL, but they had the vehicle I was looking for at a heck of a price. We worked everything out over text and email, I drove up there and got back on the road in a hurry. Even factoring in the drive time, it took less time than my last car purchase did in town. They were able to get better financing than I could get using the lowest local credit union in my area, and handled the tax/tag/title flawlessly, too, which is not always best for out-of-state purchases. Next time I need to buy a car, I'm just going to send Bubba what I'm looking for and wait for him to find it.

i went to king because i was refered by a friend who had bought a car from them. i was told by my friend that these people were up front and honest. well, that is exactly what i got! they hepled me pick out a new truck and explained to me that i had quite a bit of negative equity in my trade, which i already knew because i had over 100,000 miles on my old truck. they made several calls and were able to get quite a bit more for my trade. they got me a great rate and my payments were even lower than i expected. i was really inpressed that they did not pressure me to take life ins,extra warranty etc. overall it was a very nice expreience. i highly reccommend them!!
