I leased a vehicle from Empire Nissan and I am extremely disappointed with my experience. Before signing my lease, I specifically asked about the mileage allowance because mileage was important to me. I was told that I would have 15,000 miles per year. I later discovered that my signed lease only allows 5,000 miles per year, which is a huge difference over the term of the lease. When I contacted the dealership to address the issue, I was told that because I signed the contract showing 5,000 miles per year, that is what I am responsible for. The salesperson is now denying that I was ever told 15,000 miles per year. I understand that I signed the contract, but my complaint is about the information I was given before I signed it. Had I understood that this lease only included 5,000 miles per year, I would not have knowingly agreed to those mileage terms. I am very disappointed with how this situation has been handled and would strongly encourage anyone leasing a vehicle to carefully verify every number in the contract, regardless of what they are told during the sales process.

10 Days and Still No One Knew Where My Car Was I brought my car to the Nissan dealership at 3660 Boston Rd in the Bronx on Feb 17 because it was jerking to the right. I figured a dealership would be the most trustworthy place to get it checked. Instead, I got a $8,000 estimate and was told to contact my insurance. What followed was 10 days of Nissan saying GEICO never called them and GEICO saying they called Nissan multiple times. GEICO even offered a virtual estimate option to speed things up. According to GEICO, Nissan declined it and asked for an in-person adjuster. According to Nissan? “GEICO never called.” Eventually GEICO sent an adjuster. When he arrived, the dealership told him my car had been moved to another location. He drove there… and they said they didn’t know where it was. Meanwhile when I called the dealership, they told me the car was still at the original location. So the adjuster drove back… only to be told again the car wasn’t there. When I finally went to pick up my vehicle after 10 days of nothing happening, the staff suddenly acted like they didn’t know where my car was parked. Luckily I brought my spare key. I pressed the panic button and said “Let’s follow the sound.” And just like that… we found the car. After arguing with management and being yelled at by someone claiming to be the manager, they finally gave me my keys—but refused to give me the written estimate. So in summary: • Car sat there 10 days with no work done • Insurance adjuster sent on a Bronx scavenger hunt • Staff “couldn’t find” my car… parked outside • I had to locate my own vehicle using the panic button If you enjoy confusion, wasted time, and yelling managers, this is the place for you. Now my 2020 Altima with under 40,000 miles has a failing transition and constantly throws codes and enters limp mode making it dangerous to drive. I have brought it back to the dealer 3 times and they can not find let alone fix the issue. They keep making excuses and lying to me. Beware, I would stay away at all costs. Nissan corporate was even less help, claiming they have no relationship with their dealers and can do nothing. They created this issue with their faulty CVT design and refuse to acknowledge or fix the issue. They Operate in bad faith and dodge phone calls. The worst!

I wouldn’t buy from this dealership ever again, they will push you and push you to buy a car from them . They will run your credit through all the banks in the world basically and then find the most expensive car payment and that’s what you are stuck with . We got a car from this dealership and from the day we got it off the lot we have had nothing but problems . They didn’t do any maintenance to the car , we know this because their mechanics told us that they never inspected this car . That if the car seem brand new or barely used the dealership won’t do an inspection or maintenance. So please be careful what you buy . Also they won’t fix anything if you bring the car back for problems , we have oil leaking into our coolant tank and they want to charge us to flush it . I would think twice before getting a car here .

Do NOT Trust Them With Your Money: Worst Experience - Goffle Road Guy

I've bought or leased maybe 20 cars in the past 25 years between me, my wife and my kids' cars. Not all dealers are as good as you hope for, but these guys are WORSE than you can imagine. The car itself is great, but the dealer is the worst that I can image. They owed me money on a trade-in (car was worth more than the amount I was putting down on the new car), and I made the mistake of taking delivery of the new car and taking their word that they would mail me the check for the difference (several thousand dollars) in ten days. That taught me a lesson I will use every time going forward...if they owe YOU the money, wait until you have the CERTIFIED check in hand before you take delivery of the new car. Well, ten weeks later and I'm still waiting for my check. Lawsuit being filed, all because some guy thinks he will outlast me and I'll give in and not demand my money. They are mistaken. So you know, they are affiliated with Elite Nissan in Bergenfield and Infiniti of Englewood...Jeff Liebler is the contact at Infiniti of Englewood who apparently sits on the checks and will be dragged into this lawsuit. To summarize: There are lots of reputable dealers, DO NOT choose this one to deal with. You've been warned.

My mother and I visited Nissan of White Plains while considering a new Nissan Murano, and unfortunately our experience with salesperson Pedro Tavares was extremely disappointing. During the test drive, I asked a simple question about whether the dealership had plans for a larger location. Pedro immediately became sarcastic, defensive, and disrespectful, as though I had insulted him or the dealership. His attitude continued during the drive and afterward when we returned to discuss lease options. I have more than 28 years of experience in the automotive industry in sales, management, and dealership consulting, and I was surprised by the lack of professionalism shown while he was supposedly trying to earn our business. His behavior cost him the sale and significantly changed my opinion of Nissan of White Plains. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this dealership to friends, family, or colleagues.

Bought a used car and it works fine. But when it came time to cancel our lifetime warranty, which was our plan originally to do after a year, the office and the dealer, David Hershey, have been avoiding us. There’s so much lying and incompetence when it comes to filing documents at this dealership that we’re very close to filing a lawsuit against them. Long story short, just don’t go here- it’ll cause you months of stress and headache as well as wasting of your money.
