I went in to purchase a 2023 Santa cruz because I needed a truck bed. Chris Antone, who I've bought vehicles from before just happened to be working here and I immediately knew I was in good hands. He was patient, honest, and transparent with the cost questions I had. I ended up going with a 2022 Nissan titan with 25,000 miles. it was on the lot, the price was similar and they gave me a great deal. They discounted the price additionally despite the initial cost already being below the market. The warranty options were very flexible and I was able to cover the entire vehicle for 60,000 additional miles at a very low price. They have a great operation at this dealership. We're excited to use the service department and hope to trade in our palisade in 18 months.

Before Pride Hyundai takes your money, you’ll be treated - Physedcop

Before Pride Hyundai takes your money, you’ll be treated OK, once they have your money, you’ll be treated like you have a communicable disease. Expect to wait 5 or 6 hours waiting for them to process your vehicle. Expect numerous phone calls and emails while shopping for a vehicle. Once they have your money, they have no interest in addressing your needs or returning any phone calls. If you complain about how you’ve been treated, expect a surly, disinterested hostile response from Pride’s General Manager. Though you pay extra to have your car registered, don’t expect them to call and inform you when your plates are ready. If you’re lucky maybe they’ll inform you when your plates are ready, before the Police pull you over to inform you. Three messages left, no return call. After leaving a message with the Sales Manager, no return call from him. Finally the Salesman who blew me off called and told me he got busy and forgot about me. The next day when attempting to place a complaint for the manner in which I was treated, the General Manager downplayed my complaint saying “It was the last day of the month and they have to get their sales”. The GM was extremely rude and refused to address my complaint. At Pride Hyundai, sales come before common courtesy of customers who have already purchased vehicles. This dealership is rotten from the top. When the GM’s only interest is sales, who refuses to take complaints about his employees.

I’m leaving this review specifically for the SERVICE DEPARTMENT. On Monday (3/30), I received a call asking if I had completed a JD Power survey. I explained that I had received it, but it was about 15 minutes long and I wasn’t planning to spend that much time on it. The representative then offered an incentive, my choice of a free car detail or a free oil change if I completed the survey. It felt like they were trying to hit an end-of-month or quarterly quota. Which is fine, we all have quotas to hit. I’m always skeptical of “free” offers, so I asked how I would redeem the oil change. Based on past experiences, this dealership hasn’t been great at following through on promises. I also clarified that while the car is for my daughter, everything is under my name. The advisor assured me that once she saw the completed survey, she would email me with the details later that day. Since I was commuting home on the train, I went ahead and completed the survey. Free oil change, why not. The next day, I called and left a message saying I had completed it. The following day, I followed up again and sent an email with the same update. By Thursday, after no response, I called again and left a message expressing my frustration and telling them to keep the “free” oil change. At that point, it felt like I was chasing/begging for something that had been promised to me, which is unacceptable and just not cool To anyone considering this dealership: if they promise you anything, get it in writing. Based on my experience, I would not rely on verbal commitments. Also, I want to add. The last time I was there for an oil change was because they sent an email offer with the special price. It was difficult to get them to honor their own special from their website. Ridiculous I will say that Wassim Kafal, the General Manager, was great to work with. Very professional, down-to-earth, and genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, as the GM, he’s not someone you’re likely to interact with unless you’re closing a deal or escalating an issue. As he has a dealership to run which is understandable.
