We purchased a 2023 Exepdition Max from this dealership at the end of March.
When we were test driving the vehicle, a couple of system fault errors went off. When asked about them, we were told that they just received the vehicle in and that the vehicle was in ”transportation mode” and that those would be turned off. After discussion, my husband and I agreed to purchase the vehicle…once we purchased the car, they told us we could pick it up tomorrow as they hadn’t finished doing the overview of the vehicle. Let me note that my husband had test drove it two days before I went with him to look at it (so the dealership had it for at least a week on the lot…enough time to service the vehicle before advertising the car for sale)
So we had to wait and pick the car up the day after we purchased it…upon picking it up the sensor faults we not fixed. We were told that they would order parts and pick up our vehicle and bring us a rental car. (we live an hour and a half from the dealership)
After a week of not hearing back, we called to follow up about them fixing the faults. We called our sales rep 3 times, two of the calls went unanswered with voicemails, and once he answered and said he would get an update and call us back. He never did. We were going on two weeks of having the car, so then we called the sales manager…he told us he would check with the service department and call us back. He did call back, but did not give us an answer because the service department “was in a meeting”. my husband has since called the sales manager back two more times with no answer or response. We’re coming up on a month of owning this vehicle with absolutely no help, response, answers from this dealership. They lied to us about the faults in the beginning and then haven’t even followed up to correct the issue.
The customer service at this dealership is absolutely horrendous. Please do not consider purchasing a vehicle from here. The other negative reviews that I have read are just like the experience we have received. I’m honestly quite baffled this dealership prides themselves as a reputable dealership.
We have since decided to contact a dealership we trust to resolve these issues or purchase a new vehicle from.
