Its never easy to pay so much for a vehicle but i do feel good about the purchase and feel i got a great deal on a awesome truck!

Poor Service dept. been trying to get recall repairs on my Expedition. Parts were ordered back in January no parts and they don’t know anything about it. Spoke with Chuck Brown Ford and they can get the parts and have it repaired within a week. Mickey Mouse service department at this dealer!

Consumer Review/Warning/Rant: This last week, my 70 year old mother, my two small kids, and I, a disabled person with chronic pain and some mobility problems, were stranded on the side of the highway in the middle of nowhere. The vehicle we were in had it's fuel system break down, stranding us about 20 miles outside of Kenedy, Texas. My mother contacted AAA to use her membership benefits. After about 2 hours and multiple calls, AAA was unable to get their dispatch to contact their contract company 181 Wreckers, to send us a tow truck. We contacted 181 ourselves, and they kept telling us that AAA hadn't put an order in, and even then they would only take 1 passenger with them, forcing us to ABANDON THE OTHER 3 PASSENGERS ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD IN THE TEXAS HEAT IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. When we tried to explain to 181 Wreckers that we were two small kids, a 70 year old woman, and a diasabled person, and we couldn't just leave 3 of us behind, they grew snarky and angry with us. After literal hours on hold with AAA waiting to speak with a supervisor (who never actually called us back like promised) we contacted Alexander Ford in Kenedy. In less than an hour, they had us picked up, towed, and were working to diagnose our vehicle, working us into their already packed service schedule. They treated us warmly and courteously, offering hospitality, cartoons for our kids to watch, and even a ride to get food from a drive thru while we waited. Within 4 hours, they had our everything diagnosed, picked up the replacement part, and repaired our vehicle. We were back on the road before the end of the afternoon. The costs for their services and repairs were fair and reasonable as well. Thank you everyone at Alexander Ford! Screw you AAA and 181 Wreckers!

I dont usually do reviews, but after visiting and buying a vehicle today, I have to say that this was the best car dealer i have ever dealt with. I was fortunate to work directly with Mr Brown, who was a staright shooter. He was fair and honest. It was a simple, low stress purchase. Everyone was very nice and helpful! I would highly recommend this dealership.

Sleazy sales tactics -- Smart consumers not welcome - Sm4r7Consumer

Under no circumstances should this dealer be trusted. Saw a great price for a used vehicle, called to verify it was at the dealer and already over the phone in my first interaction with the sales person wanting to find out if it was a "done deal" even though I hadn't physically seen the car or driven it. Appointment time was set and when I arrive, the sales person is nowhere to be seen and other sales people tell me he is "at lunch" despite knowing they had an appointment. We wait 20 minutes and when I inform him he was late for his appointment, he laughs as if its a joke. Fast forward past the vehicle inspection (the car was incredibly dirty despite being at the dealer for over 2 months now), I am informed that they can't honor the price that was advertised on their website because that is no longer what was being listed. Classic bait and switch. Expecting this, since I had informed the sales person of the discrepancies on various websites, the website ads disappeared but not before screen shots and links were saved. I produced printouts of everything I saw, gave them direct links (that no longer worked) and best of all, Google had cached the websites with the low price clearly displayed on the vehicle in question, complete with the exact description and VIN number. The sales person also handed me a newspaper and said that that was the ad they ran just before the car went to another dealer (before returning when I requested it). He said it was from a week prior. When I flipped the paper over, the very top of the newspaper clearly displayed the date from the day before my visit, not the week before. The manager showed a clear lack of understanding on how the internet works and tried to blame google for changing the price. At one point, he even tries to say that this price never appeared on their website and that it has to be faked by google. Seriously. I wish I could've made that up. Eventually, they caved and were willing to sell the car at the price advertised but immediately balked when I said I would pay in cash and not finance. It didn't matter anyway because I did not plan to do business with them. It was very obvious from the start when the sales person was "at lunch" that this dealer is sleazy. They could not deal with the fact that I was so prepared for their obvious tricks. If you are an informed buyer, go somewhere else. These people are not honest at all. As soon as they realized their lies and deceptions weren't going to work, the sales person's smug attitude quickly disappeared.

I have bought 6 new pickups from them so far. I purchase a new truck every 24 months. In 2016 I purchased two new pickups from Sour Lake Ford and they exceeded my expectations on both. I had a brain hiccup and thought I would shop another dealership but came to my senses and went back to Sour Lake Ford. They almost doubled my trade in offer and still sold my trade in 3 days later, now imagine what the other dealership would have made off my trade in! The sales experience has been pleasant and rewarding. They also have an excellent service department to take care of your needs after the sale. These folks are the greatest and other folks may get tired of my bragging on them but for me there is only one Ford Dealership worth knowing, they feel like family! If you decide to give them a try and I strongly suggest that you do, There is one name you need to know and that is ROCKIE TEMPLETON!! This lady is not scared of the big boys and will go to bat for you against anybody!! When I drive up one of the other salesmen call her, they all know I only deal with ROCKIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's start with the buying process. I was at this run-down dealership for almost 5 hours buying my truck. Having sold cars for a couple of years I know this was waaaaaaay too long. My salesperson wasn't knowledgeable at all. When we couldn't come to terms on the truck I was on my way out, starting up my vehicle when they waived me back inside. Turns out the could make the deal I wanted. I went through finance (also very unprofessional), signed all of my paperwork and about 2hrs later I was driving home. About a week later I got a call from Will (sales manager) saying I would have to give them an additional $200 down and buy a warranty that would increase my payments by about $20 a month. Having sold cars I know that my deal had been sitting in the finance office for a week trying to find a lender to purchase it at the terms we agreed on. When they couldn't find one that wouldn't take some of their profit away to take the deal they called me to "sweeten" it for them so they could at least make some money on the back end in finance. The sales "manager" Will was very confronational with me when I let him know I knew my rights and knew what was going on. This dealership is a run-down piece of junk and their "sales" staff is a joke, their finance department is an un-organized joke. I wouldn't recommend giving this place your business unless you're ready to be jerked around and lied to. This place is a joke.

I purchased a 2015 Ford Expedition from this dealer in January. From the point of sale to delivery there were no surprises. I was kept apprised of the schedule for delivery each week. After make-ready, the vehicle was delivered promptly and I was given a thorough walk-around. This is the fourth vehicle I have purchased from this dealer and will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

As of Wednesday (forth day after contacting dealership) a price for the vehicle of interest has not been quoted.
