I purchased my Mazda CX-50 from Genesis of Albany yesterday, and I can honestly say this was the best dealership experience I’ve ever had.
The entire process was simple and straightforward. Farhan was extremely attentive, helpful, and easy to work with. He is an excellent salesperson and never made me feel pressured.
I’ve visited many dealerships while looking for a vehicle, and unfortunately I’ve had experiences with dealers trying to add expensive packages, change the numbers, or run my credit through multiple lenders without really listening to what I wanted. My experience here was completely different.
I specifically asked Emily to only run my credit once. When the first financing offer wasn’t good, she respected that instead of sending my application everywhere. She recommended another lender, ran it once, and was able to get me an excellent deal with a much better interest rate. I really appreciated that.
I actually had an offer for a similar vehicle at a slightly lower price somewhere else, but I decided to buy from Genesis of Albany because of how honest and transparent they were with me. To me, that is worth more than saving a few hundred dollars.
Honesty was what I was looking for throughout this entire car-buying process, and I finally found it here. I truly hope they continue treating customers this way because it makes a huge difference.
