The sole reason was due to our sales rep greeting us in the parking lot, Rishi Vernon. We had visited several dealerships and were ignored by the sales reps. We even walked into a few and no one even greeted us. When we stopped in at Suburban Honda, we started browsing outside. Rishi can out said hello, asked if we needed help, and that he would let us look. He said if we had any questions come in and he would help us. He was friendly, helpful and genuine. No runaround, just honest. That made the difference for us. His saying hello sealed the deal.

I had done a lot of research on the 2025 Honda CRV Sport - NikiR30

I had done a lot of research on the 2025 Honda CRV Sport Hybrid Touring and was set to make a decision between this and the Mazda CX-50 (it was a bit too small for me). After visiting Lafontaine Mazda, I learned that Vinny Jonna who was helping me at Mazda was able to assist me with Honda as well. As I had such a great experience at Mazda, I decided to keep my business with the LaFontaine group. I will say that towards the end there was a bit of pressure to invest in the extended plans. I know it is a salesperson's job to upsell the plans, so I was expecting that. I had a firm number that I wanted to use as a down payment and what I wanted my car payment to be. Vinny was able to work within my parameters to get the payment I wanted as well as the Extended Warranty. All in all I had a very good experience with both LaFontaine dealerships and would recommend Vinny Jonna to assist you in any of the brands in the LaFontaine group. Side note-Floyd Dixon in Finance was a pleasure to work with too!

I had my Honda in for repairs covered under warranty. The service manager set me up with a loaner car when a part had to be ordered so that the repairs could be completed after the part arrived. I was very grateful to have a car to use and to get the repair done in a timely manner. While my car was there, service also went ahead and did the oil change and tire rotation so I would not have to come back.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I have never been harassed by a salesman as much as I was by Adam at Pure Honda. I submitted an online request for information about leasing or buying a CR-V, and shortly received a call from Adam. However, I was on another call when he reached out, so I sent him to voicemail. He immediately called me back. I sent him to voicemail again. He immediately called me back for a third time, and this time he left a message. Shortly after, I received a lengthy sales pitch via text message. The next day, he called me while I was in a meeting. Again, I sent the call to voicemail, and, once more, he called me back immediately, this time without leaving a voicemail. Instead, I got another long sales pitch text. This morning was the final straw. He called again while I was in a meeting, I sent it to voicemail. Finally, on the THIRD call, I stepped out of my meeting to answer. I asked him to please not call me again. Adam started speaking over me, but I kept speaking. I emphasized that I did not want him to call again, that they had lost my business. The last thing I said was "Please do not call me again." and I hung up. Astonishingly, he immediately called me back. I answered and said, "Are you kidding me?" His response was, "Yes, Jennifer, I am here." It was incredibly creepy. This is harassment, and it is unacceptable. I will never do business with this dealership, and I will advise others to avoid them unless they are prepared to be harassed. I did call the management team and left a voicemail detailing what happened. Note, I did not call back when the manager didn't answer. However, I needed to let others know to stay away.

Brought my 2018 Honda CRV for recall work and oil change on Monday 3/17/25. Was told on 3/18 that it was ready for pick up. Agreement was made to pick it up on Wednesday, 3/19. On arrival, they were unable to locate my vehicle or keys for about 20 minutes. I asked, You lost my vehicle? The answer, No, we just can't find it. When it was located, I was shocked and disgusted to find the inside totally trashed. Driver's side: muddy. Front passenger had items normally kept in the rear. Back seat also trashed. On arrival home, it took me over an hour to clean my vehicle. Makes me wonder if the work I took it in for was actually done and why they felt the need to trash my vehicle.

Working with the team at Thelen Honda has been the best car buying experience I've ever had! I had come to MI for a couple days to visit family and wanted to see about trading in my parents' leased Accord for a new vehicle. On Friday, Garrett was fantastic helped me coordinate quotes and getting everything prepped via email so that we'd be ready when we came to test drive vehicles the next day. On Saturday, even though the dealership was busy and he was the only manager on duty, Patrick took the time to handle our trade-in, set us up with a great deal, coordinate the lease financing, and manage all of the paperwork to get us in the new Passport that day! It meant the world to me that we were able to get my parents into such a great vehicle, on a weekend, with such care and attention... and that I could head home that Sunday with everything taken care of. The care and hospitality that Garrett and Patrick showed our family has truly made us customers of Thelen for life!
