Bait and switch sales tactice - aj

Classic used car tricks. Spent hours their discussing and finalizing terms verbally, then they tried to claim they got the terms confused because I was "looking at other cars too and those cars had warranties but not the car you picked out" Baloney. They tried to upsell me on different cars but I never expressed serious interest in any of them. But they claimed that their warranties only applied to certain cars. They could have made that clear from the beginning.

We recently purchased a vehicle here, and the experience - Julie

We recently purchased a vehicle here, and the experience was excellent. Tracy, Ashley and the staff are all professional. We had some concerns after we purchased the vehicle, and their mechanics checked it out and reassured us that all was running as it should. Buying a used car is very scary, not knowing what you may get. Autowise is upfront with their CarFax reports, servicing of the vehicles and allowing customers to have the vehicle inspected prior to purchasing. This transaction was very transparant, and we felt like the staff really does care about their customers. I received a call back from Tracy to make sure I got home ok because I was driving in a bad rain storm. Her phone call was very much appreiated. Thank you Tracy, Ashley, Spencer, Jose, Kris and staff for all your help with our car purchase. We love the car and hope to have many years of driving pleasure.

Paid around 17k for the vehicle and monthly repairs. - happyemove

Paid around 17k for the vehicle and monthly repairs. Paid it off it broke down and I was told it was 10k to fix. They were rude and told me it was my problem since I paid it off. Awful experience. Do not use their mechanics. They took out my drive shifter supposedly rebuilt the engine and transmission. Everything was messed up. I was in tears. Carmen was the best. She catches xxxx because of their foolishness. Sorry Carmen

Sweet Surprise - KKgrammy

We looked at the car online then went just before closing had to go back next day. It was a Sweet Surprise just how easy Jeff made it happen and Financing was Smooth. We Were really happy with the experience. Jeff even had to stay late but was no pressure sales. We showed him others we saw online. He pulled up any information. He didn't bad mouth other dealers. Wanted the BEST FIT for us. Great memories new adventures begin. Thanks

Best car buying experience hands down We drove 2. - Devin

Best car buying experience hands down We drove 2.5 hours from the west coast to see the truck on a Sunday and John the owner came in personally on the day they were closed for us to look at a Nissan Titan they had and we took it home same day.The process took no longer than 2 hours for everything to be done and the truck had very little issues with it . I also want to thank Marina for her amazing customer service over email. She sent me 2 buyers orders with out the door prices immediately upon asking and we had to go visit.

Mike the 1 eye fast talking liar liar with junk cars - Seminole1980

I baught suv in 2016 a week later oil started leaking he had my suv for 4 days close to the end of 30 day warranty he claims it's fixed but oil started leaking a week later. I'm not stupid he probably put stop oil leak in it and 2 months later other stuff started messing up a/c went out, battery went bad, buttons for the windows stop working, it's now May 2017 been waiting since January for mike to fix spark plugs & coils. He's a liar and rude talks over you don't let you finish talking, someone's going to knock his other eye out. I should of gave that junk suv back within the first 3 months he should not be in the business close his shop.

Angel is quite possibly the worst dealer / owner you will - 66rexford

Angel is quite possibly the worst dealer / owner you will ever encounter. A compulsive liar. I made the biggest mistake of my life in purchasing an exotic car from them. They said the car had been inspected and created bogus reports (fraud) and then would not return calls once the car shopped to me. Stay away or you will be sorry. There's no one worse.

If you have been done in Justice by this Shady dealership... - Lisa

If you have been done in Justice by this Shady dealership contact your local DMV and file a complaint. This can be done online. Furthermore, you can file a claim against his company's insurance bond if you have a legit claim. The DMV is mandated by law to provide you with a bond companies information. These steps are very easy but most people don't go through the measures. Please file a DMV complaint with Broward County. Again this can be done online very easily

Lieso and Dishonesty - BrandyPage

Crooks. Bought a car 3 days ago. used, no as is sticker on the car, was told clean title, was told 1995 for the cost, was told no leaks no issues with the car, was told 109k miles on it, was told nothing but lies. Show up, got a oh we need to take the car to the mechanic the engine light "just" popped up.. The sales man who changed his names a few times.. Juan... Juan nicholas, nicholas.... said he wants to make sure the car is good before selling as its his image... blah blah... if anythings wrong call me we will see what we can do. All lies. I just had a newborn.. before spending 40 min to drive to the dealership I told him I don't want a xxxx vehicle.. we have 3 kids that need a running safe vehicle. "Oh its a great vehicle just needs some detailing" he says. We drive down and are there for 3 hours on top of it with looking, and finalizing everything.. Once the car came back from the "mechanic", they said it was a water pump for the Engine light turning on and said it it's going bad to change it before 3k miles. we decided to go with it being that was the only issue.. NO that was not the only issue (unfortunately to late because everything was done with papers, we had to find out this an hour later) My other half was reviewing everything and concerned with the sound it was making but it wasn't to loud on the test run. being it was possible Being a water pump and time crunched as he was on lunch break he did basic looking (engine, looked for leaks, etc.) nothing was visually wrong with the vehicle. now leaving, the break light was out and they had no bulb apparently. So we get home, come to find out the code has a Vin number doesn't match the vehicle error message, fuel communication error message, multiple battery low and and high issues... nothing about a waterpump. The milage on the car was 3k more than what they told me, also found out they charged me 200 more than it was supposed to be prior to taxes. We didn't get the signed papers till 2 days later through fax.Of course all the quick responses made prior to sale stopped once we took the car and had issues within a hour. not only that, the 4 wheel drive stick was broken, we found the rebuild sticker crumbled up in the middle compartment when it was supposed to be a clean title.. Bad business. They got me with having kids there took advantage and nothing but lies. Really sad you have people who are wiling to make money from someone versus actually doing good things for people, the right thing, and being honest. I would of recommended and praised this company if they were good. My business will forever be elsewhere, I will never send them people and will tell everyone my personal experience with this company. They deserve to be shut down for doing this to people. My own fault for not being more detailed than I was and should of walked away when they said check engine light just popped on. Live and learn. Beware and do not get a car from these guys.

Untrustworthy dealer, can't be trusted. Do yourself a favor - Joe Marsh

If you still brave enough and want one of their cars, bring the listing to make sure that they are no lying on the listing, and bring a mechanic to check the car.

I have purchased many of vehicles from Buba Hill Auto... - neveragain

I have purchased many of vehicles from Buba Hill Auto plaza and this will be my last. This is why I will not recommend you buy your next vehicle from them. I bought my car on September 29th 2020 and needed a brake caliper within 3 weeks. They replaced it with no problem now November 25th 2020 my transmission is making noises so I called and they want to charge a $75.00 fee to look at it and tell me I am responsible for the repairs my 30 days is up. I take to the shop I choose (not Buba Hill) and get them to do an oil change and tell them about the transmission. They tell me my front main seal and oil pan gasket is leaking bad and for the transmission it will have to go to the dealership. I recommended one of my family members to get one from them and they had a similar issue, but I thought it may have just been a bad car and gave them another shot but this is it I’m done with them.

Easy to deal with and honest. A very pleasant surpise !!! - davemonfl

I was looking for a used 328i with Sport Package and 6 speed manual. Proved to be impossible to find in Sarasota/Bradenton area. Found two in Tampa and one in Palm Beach so went to Cars of Tampa. The car they had was just what I wanted but it had after market 16" wheels instead of 17" or 18" that come with Sport Package, and it was missing two pieces of trim around the rear door windows. They threw in OEM BMW 18" wheels off a crashed BMW they had on the lot and said they would get the trim pieces for me from a junk yard and mail them to me. After a month or so of searching they could not find the trim pieces so they ordered them brand new and installed them for me for free. I highly recommend these guys!!

Horrible - Chicago

They lied about everything. The car I purchased was not what they told me it was, the mileage wasn't what they told me. JR is supposedly their repo guy with no dealer license. Then he sends people to Stu so he doesn't get blamed. WORST LOT EVER!!!

5 STAR ALL THE WAY!!!!!!! - aharris2

Let me start out by saying that I am very big on customer service. I did not know that purchasing a car would be so hard. I tried many different company's in WPB to Fort Lauderdale and everyone turned their noise up at me because of my repo. From the time I walked in Checkered Flag they were nothing more then amazing. I was greeted with a welcoming that made me feel excellent. Fran had me to feel out my credit application and then Alex took me under his wing and advocated for me to the fullest. Alex went over and beyond to help me in my time of need. Ben took me out on my test drive and made me feel very confident that the 2017 Nissan Altima was going to be mine. To finish up my paper work and seal the deal Nancy and per bubbly personality made me smile . This group of people were very personal and that's how all company's should be when customer's are searching for a vehicle... If you are in need of a nice new car please stop by Checkered Flag because if they were able to do it for me I know with out a doubt they can do it for you.....

The employee was very rude. He stated he didn’t feel well... - candancefree

The employee was very rude. He stated he didn’t feel well and didn’t want to answer my questions nor have me transferred to anther sales man. His matter in conducting business was horrible. He was also impatient
