I’ve bought over 20 cars in my life. - Danny
I’ve bought over 20 cars in my life. I know how dealerships work. I know the feeling of walking in excited and walking out wondering if you just got played.
That did not happen at Pompano Honda.
This was hands down the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. And I don’t say that lightly.
From the second I walked in, something felt different. The energy was different. The staff actually looked happy to be there. The energy was magnetic no a fake I’m gonna get a sale happy. Just genuinely good amazing Aura. Even on a busy night, everyone was like a team. There were moments I seen every employee doing my golden rule which is make sure everyone is being attended to that walks in the door with extreme respect. and welcoming attitude.
My super superstar of the whole experience was Jose Arias
Jose is not even a salesperson. He’s the Director of Sales. And instead of brushing me off immediately to someone help me sell a car, he took the time to talk to me himself. He answered my questions. He made me feel comfortable. He didn’t rush me. In about ten minutes, he understood exactly what I wanted, what color, what features, what worked for my family. He saved me so much time it’s not even funny. And throughout the whole process, he kept checking in to make sure everything was going perfectly.
Now let me explain why this place is different.
The part I hate most about buying a car is when they ask, How much do you want to pay? If a car is worth one number and you say a higher one, suddenly that’s what you’re paying. I’ve seen it happen too many times.
That didn’t happen here.
They gave me their best price. Straight up. No pressure. Most importantly No “this deal is only good for today.” No weird back and forth games. Just transparency. Such as take your time but I can’t promise someone might not buy it so you may have to wait for the same spec.
And then there’s something I have never seen before. A seven day exchange policy. Think about that. Most dealerships, once you drive off the lot, that’s it. You’re stuck. They call it buyer’s remorse for a reason. But these guys are so confident in how they match you with the right car that they actually give you seven days. That gave me so much peace of mind.
For the first time in my life, I didn’t shop around. I didn’t call three other Honda stores. I didn’t negotiate. I accepted the first offer. Even if I paid a little more, I didn’t care. The experience and the value were worth it.
Then came finance. Usually this is the part where you feel attacked with add ons. Not here.
They walked me through everything logically. Tire protection. Have you ever damaged a rim? How much did it cost last time? Does this make sense for you? Leather protection. I have a golden retriever and a German shepherd. Enough said. Paint protection. Avoid unexpected costs.
It wasn’t pressure. It was a conversation. They helped me think long term. Yes, my payment went up from what I originally expected. But what also went up was my peace of mind. And after recently getting hit with a huge unexpected plumbing bill at my house, I’ve learned that avoiding surprise expenses is priceless.
And here’s what really impressed me. They followed up after the sale. Not just the sales rep. Jose called me too. When does that ever happen?
I drove an hour and fifteen minutes to get there. I would do it again without thinking twice.
I started my driving life in a 1995 Honda Civic that took me from high school through college. I’ve been loyal to Honda ever since because of reliability and value. But now I’m loyal to this dealership.
I’m a busy guy. Five kids. A wife. Two businesses. Taking this time to write this wasn’t easy. But they earned it.
If you go there, ask for Jose. He’ll point you in the right direction and make the whole process smooth.
Ten out of ten. Best experience I’ve ever had buying a car.
