Bait and Switch is alive and well at Chapman. Went ready to buy a truck advertised on-line. When we got there it was $14000 more than advertised. Added on all kinds of things we didn't want before we got there. How can you put a price online when the vehicle is already changed?. In addition they have two locations in the East Valley and, for example, one wanted $1499 for window tinting and the other wanted $400. We have cash but it isn't going to Chapman

Our elderly parents went to Chapman gmc to get their air conditioner fixed and were told it would be a couple of days. After they got home they started getting calls with all that was wrong with the car to include even getting the tires rotated, they declined all of that and told them they just wanted the air conditioner fixed. Next they got a call telling them the car wouldn’t start and it needed an ignition switch which had to be ordered. A couple of days they went in to ask what was taking so long and that’s when the excuses started by a manager. He even went so far as to tell them that they had been asking the wrong questions. After all this it still took most of a day getting the car programmed. All this time our parents were renting a car. We would be hard pressed to let this dealership put air in our tires. They are weighing their options.

They scam people making them think they are buying a diamond and they sold a lemon do not go to them at all very unprofessional company and people are only there to help steal your money and not help you

Should not take 4 months to get parts, they do work I told them not to and charged me. I took my car in in April and they said the turbo needed replacement. It took 4 months, numerous phone calls and visits and then an angry call from me for them to finally figure out how to get the parts. Also in April I asked how much to replace my headlight, they said $132, that included $100 labor. I told them to take that off the repair order so I assumed when I went in last week to get my turbo replaced that the headlight was taken off like I told them to. Well, they didn't do their job and didn't take it off so they replaced the headlight and charged me. That was not right,

Sierra Vista, AZ 01 5/24/2023Updated review Lawley Hyundai Service Department - May 24, 2023 A couple of weeks ago, I submitted a negative review outlining my past frustrations with attempting to get previously scheduled warranty service attended to through advance scheduling with the Lawley Hyundai Service Representative. On May 22, 2023, I appeared at the dealership for an 8AM appointment for, what I hoped, would the day the service technician would be available to attend to my warranty matter. The service representative, who had scheduled the appointment, fetched the service director, Mr. Herb Santa Maria, who advised he would write the service order for that days work, as he had been advised I had written a review earlier. First, Mr. Santa Maria, stated the technician may not be able to get to the job, as scheduled, due to a backlog having been created from the previous work day. That was disappointing, and I asked then, what was the purpose in making an advance appointment for service, if a technician would not be available to perform the work? I explained customer's time is equally important and when we make an appointment, we simply expect requested work to be attended to. I asked that the technician at least take a look at the requested matter, and then we'd have a discussion about when the work could actually be accomplished. The service director agreed. As it turned out the director did arrange for the technician to begin the warranty work that morning and despite difficulties, beyond the technician's control, the work was completed in about five hours. I left the service department at about 1:15pm, that day. In summary, I'd like to say I was most impressed with the demeanor and professionalism displayed that day by Mr. Santa Maria. Despite having a backlog of work for the Hyundai technician, he recognized a need to attend to my warranty matter. Both he, and the technician, Noah, are to complimented for dealing with unexpected frustrations experienced with Hyundai/Kia in resolving my warranty issue. The job was completed in an excellent manner and in a reasonable time. Looking forward, Mr. Santa Maria provided me with his business card, and encouraged me to contact him anytime in regard to warranty matters. As a Hyundai owner and customer, I appreciate that.

Giving this dealership a single star is way to generous, a minus 5 stars would be more appropriate. My grief is specifically with the Service Department and the Service Manager. My 2018 Silverado LTZ 3500 4x4 broke down on my way back from Wisconsin. A few days later I was able to get the track hauled back home and then to Larry Green Chevrolet. I was originally told that the repairs were covered under warranty, the truck only had 40K miles on it. Approx a week later I received a call from another Service writer telling me that since the vehicle had aftermarket parts on it, the warranty was void. Drove to Larry Green to get an explanation and was told I would need to discuss with the Service Manager. During the wait, I went out to where my truck was parked and it hadn’t been moved since it was delivered there. Asked about the warranty and was told again that the warranty was void due to the aftermarket parts installed on the truck. I asked how they knew the parts were the problem when they hadn’t even looked at the truck yet. He told me that if they fixed the truck with parts on it under the warranty and GM found out he would get fired. I reluctantly agreed to pay for the repairs, with the stipulation that I wanted all parts removed from the truck as well as proof that the added parts caused the problem which h acknowledged. During the course of the repairs I checked in on the progress and each time I asked if they had proof that my aftermarket parts caused the problem and each time I was told no but they strongly suspicioned that they did. I reminded him that by Federal Law they were required to show proof in order to void the warranty which was ignored. They never even looked for the actual cause of the problem, they merely attempted to fix the result of the issue. When I paid the $9000 bill and picked up the truck, none of the parts hade been saved as I directed except the aftermarket exhaust section. Within a couple of days of getting the truck back I quickly realized there were issue with the truck and called Steve Lopez. He told me the mechanic was on vacation and wouldn’t be back for 2 weeks. Unfortunately, my truck didn’t make it that long, it broke down again in the same manner as the first time. I called Steve Lopez to inform him the truck had broke down, he informed that the Service Manager had instructed him to have no further communication with me. Several attempts to contact the Service Manager were ignored. As a result of Larry Green cutting off all communication, I was forced to take the truck to Lamb Chevrolet. After a couple three days I received a call from Lamb that the truck was fixed and to come pick it up. I was also told that I needed to have a conversation with the mechanic while I was there. I went to pick up the truck the following morning. When I got there, the Service Writer promptly called the mechanic to come see me. He showed me pictures of the bottom end of the turbo down tube being blown off and you could see that it had only been reconnected by approx. a quarter of an inch. He also told me that the soot level in the Diesel Particulate Filter was over 250%. These the exact same issues that occurred when I experienced the first breakdown! He told me that the cause of the problem was the Mass Air Flow Sensor was bad as well as the Diesel Particulate Filter Sensor. These were preventing the truck from going into regen. Truck was running, but not without issues. Two more trips to Lamb and another $3K and truck still had issues. Truck got worse and took it a local mechanic. He found that neither the turbo or the waste gate actuator had been tightened down and I had a severe vacuum leak. Over 2 years and over $15K, truck runs way better except it still doesn’t regen properly. This all should have been covered by warranty, but Larry Green has failed to respond to requests to resolve. TAKE YOUR VEHICLE FOR SERVICE TO LARRY GREEN AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

I live 2 hours north of town. When I arrived, the bay manager said my appointment had been for the previous week... but he might be able to fit me in. It took 7+ hours to perform what was described as a 3-4 hour task when I called. I never received any of the free oil changes because of my distance from the dealership, so I thought the oil change was comped. I verified with the bay manager that the oil change had been comped and he said the cashier forgot to charge me. I returned to pay for the oil change. The heated seats have never worked since I bought the vehicle -- I was told that the heated seats were not under warranty: It's the only defect in what otherwise has been a perfect truck. I've had two negative episodes [spanning 20 years] with prior vehicles, and both times, I was made to feel like a lier. Which is why I was careful to get the appointment straight, since I made my entire day revolve around it, but I must have been lying about that too. I addressed the recall only because my diagnostic reports makes me appear negligent: It was logical to have the dealership address the recall. Besides the heated seats, I haven't had any issues with this vehicle and I have no intention of replacing it. I do have serious trust issues with the dealership but there's no point in describing those issues when I'm accused of making stuff up. Hopefully, I won't have to go back.
