I needed a new car and they got me a great deal on a GMC Terrain. I was in and out in 2hrs, and was able to pick up the car the next day after it was winterized. Everything was ready for me at noon, I can say I'm referring my family and friends to GMC of Fairbanks.

Had a 9:00am oil change APPOINTMENT but was told it would take all day. Whoever the older gal in the Service Department with graying brownish hair that needed a brush run through it just pointed to the wall. I said I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I AM SUPPOSED TO BE LOOKING AT. She was pointing to a file holder on the wall with yellow sheets in it and said THAT’S WHAT I HAVE AHEAD OF YOU. I again reminded her I had a 9:00 am appointment and some other guy with dark brown hair piped up saying ANYONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE AN APPOINTMENT WILL NOT GET THEIR OIL CHANGED. I AGAIN reminded him I had a 9:00am appointment. They both just looked at me. I said some expletives and walked out the door mad as a hornet because I live in Wasilla and it takes about 90 minutes to drive to Anchorage from where I live. The Wasilla Lithia Dodge store has a Wait List about 4 months long and they are useless there. Sitting in my truck in their parking lot trying to wrap my head around this xx about why even book an appointment if it’s just going to take all day when out walks a nice man named Shon came to my truck. . He said I’M JUST A PORTER HERE, THE LOWEST ON THE LADDER, BUT YOU ARE NOT WRONG AND I JUST WANTED TO APOLOGIZE FOR THIS ISSUE. LET ME SEE WHAT I CAN DO TO HELP. I was shocked beyond belief because someone actually came out to talk to me instead of just pointing to a wall. Long story short, this Porter named SHON who said he was the lowest on the pole, came back and said WE CAN GET YOU IN AND OUT IN ABOUT 2 HOURS INSTEAD OF ALL DAY. I was thrilled because someone actually took the time to help me out. In my opinion Shon should be way higher up on the “ladder” because the people who were higher on the ladder than him did NOTHING AT ALL. Case in point: Even if you have a SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT WITH SEVERAL TEXT MESSAGE CONFIRMATIONS EXPECT TO WAIT ALL DAY unless you are fortunate enough to get Shon the “low man on the ladder” to help you. He is the ONLY REASON I STAYED. Again, Upper Management and people higher on the ladder than him TAKE NOTE OF THIS MAN. You “higher up” should get out of your chairs and do what Shon does. I’m positive Shon can do your jobs better than you. Shame on the Service Employees for being huge a$$’es and not doing anything. ROCK ON SHON!!!

If I could give this dealership zero stars I would. When my 2021 Chevy broke down on me everything from roadside assistance to the customer service at the dealership was extremely horrible. GM roadside did not call the tow truck when they said they would. I also bought an extended warranty for my truck that provided a loaner vehicle and they refused to assist me in getting the loaner. The service department told me I had to get my truck when it was broken and not driveable because I did not have an appointment. When I asked for an appointment they told me it would be a while, but failed to even provide options or a date of when I could get one. The sales department did not care whatsoever about assisting me. After selling the truck back to the dealership, the very next day they took the truck back into service to start the repairs so they could get it on the lot to sell. NEVER AGAIN will I even shop or use this dealership for anything. If you want great customer service go somewhere else, these people do not care about you and will not provide good customer service.

Usually with car dealerships people expect negative review and bad experience. Well not here. From day one this place has been great. I’ve been getting my vehicle serviced here did years. They have always been friendly and done everything I requested in the service side. Now onto the sales side, mr. Daniel runs a very professional show. His Sales staff is sever pushy. I highly respect that. They do their best to make you feel comfortable their. No pressure the way it should be. I’m happy I bought a vehicle from them. And highly recommend you to check them out. My sales person Dave did a wonderful job. Travis as F&I was Precise and to the point. In conclusion it was a great experience.

They knew there was a problem with the car and didn't inform me until after I had purchased the car. They also added $750.00 to the purchase price for "their fees that they charge everyone", added extended warrenty although I had specifically stated I did not want it. Have not replied to certified letter stating wanted refund for the warrenty. Gave me registration that had already expired. I will never deal with this company again. I think everyone who has been scammed by this company should get together and file a lawsuit.
