I came in with worry over a “check engine” light. I was worried that I couldn’t be seen because I had no reservation. Shane did a quick check and told me it wasn’t a big problem. I left my car overnight and it was ready the next morning. They eased my worry and fixed the problem without me having to wait for a regular reservation. Nice work! More
Shane did what he could do to help us out with the unusual circumstances that we were in. We never received a recall notice from Chevy for the issue we had with the Equinox or we would have brought in unusual circumstances that we were in. We never received a recall notice from Chevy for the issue we had with the Equinox or we would have brought in in for service. Instead the car broke down while my wife was taking me the hospital for a possible heart attack. Had to call 911 and be transported the rest of the way. The first responders would not let my wife stay with the vehicle. She went to the hospital with me and contacted a towing company who in turn Contacted the state police who had the car towed. Chevy has refused to compensate us for the towing charges or the impound fee stating that we needed to contact Chevy roadside assistance. At least we weren’t ticketed for the vehicle because of the communication between the Towing company and the state police. Shane was able to get us a loaner car after a few days and told me the part was on backorder and our vehicle should be fixed by mid October. Luckily, the part came in earlier and we had our car within about 10 days. I am in contact with Chevy customer service to still try to resolve the issue of getting some of my money back for the tow charges. If there is anything that G Burton can do to help with the situation, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.
