Typical Sale With Zero Follow Through I traded in a 2003 Silverado 2500 HD that was still under factory warranty for a “Certified Pre-Owned” 2008 Honda Civic EX. This was my first experien I traded in a 2003 Silverado 2500 HD that was still under factory warranty for a “Certified Pre-Owned” 2008 Honda Civic EX. This was my first experience with a dealership and I think the sales team knew it, because they set me up with every warranty they had to offer. I signed my name on the contracts though so that part is on me, it was when I attempted to use any of the “warranties” that I ran into major problems. Most of the added warranties they offer are actually serviced by a 3rd party, something they don’t tell you even in the paperwork. For instance, when calling to get a replacement key fob I had to first call Honda Care who would give me the number of a company in another state, who would then need me to take my vehicle to one of their own locations to match my car for the correct key. I had similar issues when trying to get warranty work done on my car. As is supposedly typical with the 2006-2011 Civics I had a motor mount crack and my car would vibrate horribly. I contacted Zimbrick about this and they wouldn’t even let me bring bring it in without charging me for an inspection. Under warranty. I had to contact Honda Care and they pointed me to a Honda dealer in Oshkosh who actually fixed the problem and didn’t charge me. I tried several times, even once walking into the dealership, to remedy the problems I was having with the warranties but I think because they already had my money I was just a nuisance. I would recommend buying off of Craigslist before I recommended this dealship to anyone, you’ll probably find a higher level of integrity. More
