Young Subaru Service Department Redeems Themselves.. I bought a Forester from Young Subaru in November of 2014. Fo the first two years after buying my car I had all service done at Young Subaru's servic I bought a Forester from Young Subaru in November of 2014. Fo the first two years after buying my car I had all service done at Young Subaru's service department. I left each time more dissatisfied than that last time. Eventually I found a different place to have my vehicle serviced. Last week, our foster dog ate both of the front seatbelts in our Forester. I went to the dealership for the first time in about two years and expected to have a disappointing experience as in the past. Things have changed at Young Subaru. My experience was the opposite. They ordered my seatbelts and were up front with all of the disappointing factors of my lot in life at that moment (cost and time in transit on the parts). To my surprise they called 4 days earlier than promised to let me know the parts were in. I took my car in this morning to have the new seatbelts installed and they called me, as promised early this afternoon to let me know the car was ready. My advice, give their service department another shot if you've had disappointing experiences at Young Subaru service department in the past. More

There were some misleading information or withheld information. After my first day when I agreed to return the following day and turn in my leased vehicle. I only agreed if I maintained a payment close to my current one and no money down. I was told that would be no problem. After working out the details my payment would have been 180$ more plus a down payment. Why do car dealers do this? My payment ended up 100$ more but no down payment. I just received the financing info in the mail and was never told this was a 3 1/2 yr lease. Just be honest up front. The very best dealer I have dealt with was honest from the start, no games and I loved it. I do think you have improved greatly from the past. Jordan did a great job! More
Took us 3 visits to get problem resolved We were called in for an airbag recall and ended up having to come in 3 separate times on 3 separate weekends to get everything resolved. We live 1.5 hours away, so this was huge inconvenience. The first time, they replaced the airbags, but broke 2 trim pieces inside the car in the process. I was in the car, ready to leave when I noticed. Apparently nobody QC’d the work after completion. They didn’t have the parts on hand, so I was told to come back the next week to get it fixed. The next week came and I show up and hear that they only had one of the pieces. I was also told that since the tech who worked on it before wasn’t there, I’d have to come back when he was working. I persisted and the person helping begrudgingly told one of the techs “I don’t really care at this point, just go fix it...”. Great customer service there buddy! Finally, after a few weeks, I was told to just go to another dealer because they had the part there. No charge to me and closer to home. Overall, I was not really impressed with my experience, but am glad my car is fixed and ready to go. More

The employees were cordial and on the ball. The waiting area was comfortable. My car was serviced in a very short time and I was on my way. More
Bought a 2017 vehicle Excellent service except after purchasing car I told them I would pick it up two days later at 1:00. They said it would be clean and ready. Despicable tactics Absolutely would NOT recommend this dealership. They stripped off accessories that were on the car AFTER our price negotiation, and did not inform us Absolutely would NOT recommend this dealership. They stripped off accessories that were on the car AFTER our price negotiation, and did not inform us of this. We only found out when we asked about those accessories (touted as things that "we install on every car we sell") and were told that since we didn't pay for them, they were removed. I have email exchanges from the Internet manager (Amy Phippen) stating only that the COST of those accessories was being removed from the negotiated price, as they weren't something we'd have normally included. Brandon Walker then took over the negotiating. We negotiated in good faith that the car was intact exactly as advertised and originally listed throughout our negotiations, and based our target price on that. To find out that they stripped those off while we were signing papers is absolutely unacceptable, a low-class move to try and save a few dollars after the fact. Despicable tactics, and we will never set foot in this dealership again, nor would we recommend them to anyone. We were delayed and kept waiting well over an hour after completing paperwork while they removed these options, and never ONCE were we told why our car was delayed, only, “It should be ready in just a few more minutes.” This after they had assured us FIVE HOURS prior that the car would be pulled up and waiting when we arrived (the ONLY thing that needed to be changed was adding splash guards). After the fact, Brandon will only insist that HE never discussed including those options, ignoring the point that Amy did, and those options were ON THE CAR, only removed AFTER the negotiations. Even our original salesperson, Zach Breeden, thought we had those options on the car as we drove off the lot that day. Brandon refused admit any complicity in this, nor try to remedy anything, only trying to place the blame on us. Brandon Walker ruined Young Subaru’s reputation in one fell swoop, and sullied our opinions of everyone involved, even those who were actually quite informative and helpful. And sadly their reputations will suffer as a result. We love our two current Subaru vehicles, and we'd buy a Subaru again in a heartbeat. But we will NEVER consider Young Subaru again. More
