Not very happy. Took my Jeep in for a "Service 4 wheel drive" light. Explained to my service guy, that my transfer case control module was not getting power. He wrot Took my Jeep in for a "Service 4 wheel drive" light. Explained to my service guy, that my transfer case control module was not getting power. He wrote, "4-wheel service light on". Received a call the next day that the Rear differential was bad and needed to be replaced and that the transfer case control module needed to be replaced. I agreed to have the work done. He then said it would be 3-5 days for the parts to come in. After hanging up and calling a family mechanic. I called back to cancel, and pick up my jeep. He said no problem. He called back about 2 minutes later. "they are telling me there will be a $400 service charge for restocking". There had been a 20 minute gap, from when I said ok to have the work done, to when I canceled. So I called the shuttle to pick me up and get my Jeep, which took about 2 1/2 hours. Arrived at the dealership spoke with the cashier and asked to see the invoice of where the dealership was being charged a "restocking fee". She said there isn't one. I then asked to speak to the parts department, I asked to see the invoice. There wasn't one. Then spoke to the "parts manager". He was unable to produce an invoice of there being a charge, "we get charged monthly, so when it comes in we would have to send it back". So I said that seemed fast for 20 minutes, to order, fulfill, and ship the part. He said. "yes they are fast". So there was no invoice, but I was still made to pay the hypothetical charge that the dealership might get when the part gets delivered. When the clerk said, "that they would have to carry it in stock until it was used on another Jeep", wait...... What??? So after all was said and done, I paid over $600 on "service" that wasn't performed and parts that weren't used. They never looked at the electrical problem that I asked for initially, and the "tech won't go forward with diagnostics until you get the parts replaced". I will never go back to this dealership again. And will advise all my friends and family to stay clear also. More
