We purchased a Subaru Forester from Yellowstone Motors about a month ago. At the time of purchase, we were not aware that this vehicle had several mechanical issues that needed to be addressed. We had c about a month ago. At the time of purchase, we were not aware that this vehicle had several mechanical issues that needed to be addressed. We had committed to buying this vehicle without it first going through the shop. It had been recently traded in. However, when it did go through the shop, they replaced a water pump, torque converter, head gasket, and some other parts. Afterwards, we brought it home, but soon after, we realized it was leaking oil. We contacted the dealership, and they took another look. They learned that the transmission needed to be replaced too. We told them to go ahead with the transmission replacement. We/they were not sure how long the repair would take, due to current supply and demand issues after COVID. However, Mike and Clyde worked their magic in the service department and found a transmission for us quickly. They replaced the transmission and had our Forester back to us shortly thereafter. We can’t express enough our appreciation to Thomas in sales, Mike, Clyde, and several others in the service department, because with this additional vehicle, our large family is able to operate much more efficiently! All departments treated us with respect and were genuinely interested in in the outcome of our experience. Thank you! More
