I took my wife here to buy a car. She was upside down in her current car and didn't know what she could do. We came in 45 mins before closing, so we thought they would just rush right back out the door. But her current car and didn't know what she could do. They let us tell our story and when we were through they said they would take care of everything. They spoke with the car company she had her first car threw. Got them to come down on the price that she had left. Traded her car in an got her in a 2010 car. With the same monthly payments. All that same night. Everyone one stay late to help. It was wonderful to see people go above and beyond to help out. Especially car salesman!! They even had us bring the car back the next day to get it detail. (For Free)!! I had a great experience working with Rodney on this purchase. I really appreciated the extra time he took to find the best scenario for me. Even though I would have purchased the 2012 Forester that w purchase. I really appreciated the extra time he took to find the best scenario for me. Even though I would have purchased the 2012 Forester that was already on the lot, he took me back and showed me a model for the same price but with additional features. This Forester had just delivered and was not available to take home. But he worked it out so I was able to drive home with the 2010 Forester off of the used lot for the weekend. This was awesome because I know He was trying to sell that car (I almost bought it myself), and He could have given me anything to drive until I could pick up our 2012 but He wanted me to drive away in a Forester and that's just what he did. Previously I had a bad experience at Folger Subaru about 6 months ago when we came in to try and trade in my leased vehicle. I ended up getting dragged along for at least 4 hours looking at new cars I wasn 6 months ago when we came in to try and trade in my leased vehicle. I ended up getting dragged along for at least 4 hours looking at new cars I wasn't interested in and found that they hadn't found the time to look at my leased vehicle for an estimate. Needless to say, I was a little apprehensive about going back. Thankfully, I got to work with Jim Gamble. The guy is a quick, no nonsense kind of guy. I told him what I wanted in possible options for a new vehicle if we decided to trade-in. He found all the options that fit what I wanted and didn't try and sell me on something I knew I wouldn't like. And when I ended up deciding to buy out my lease, there wasn't any more mention of trying to get me in a new car. I respected that a TON. That was just the beginning. Jim kept everything moving smoothly and let me know what was happening (paperwork, the car getting cleaned, etc.). Explained everything to me clearly. Even my dad, who HATES having to go to car dealerships enjoyed our experience with Jim. (That and he definitely enjoyed the endless supply of popcorn provided...) Also, I need to give xxxxxxto Rob Pebler because he was extremely clear and forthcoming about how the billing, tags, and transfer were going to happen. We've got a weird situation were we actually had to get the tags and sale to be compliant with VA sales tax and registration. Jim was willing to sit on the phone with the DMV (which is something I'm never willing to do) to figure out registration stuff and also helped figure out the correct sales tax for Virginia. Rob also made everything so easy for me that I may not even have to do anything else to complete the registration when I'm back in Virginia. All in all, a great experience. If you go there, work with Jim and Rob and you definitely won't regret it. I'll definitely be back there when I'm in the market for a new Subaru. More

Mr. Scott Brennan by far was the most courteous and quickest to respond to our emails. He worked efficiently with my husband to make the best deal possible. We talked with him during the morning and by the same time the next business day, we purchased the car. We were welcomed by extremely nice and friendly employees in the dealership. Mr. Pebler was very thorough with us while explaining all the extended warranty offers and financial issues. We were introduced to Mike Melton, service department, to answer any service question we may have had. One of the most pleasant car-buying experiences I have ever experienced. We will probably drive the 2 1/2 hour trip to have the vehicle serviced at Folger Subaru just because of the integrity of the staff. More
Thanks to Jim and Rob, we can honestly say this was the bet car buying experience we have ever had. We never felt pressured to buy. The amount for our trade was a solid number from the beginning. Folger never played the game that so many dealers play - of shooting low on trade in and only moving up a few dollars at a time and/or shopping us around to multiple lenders. The fact that Jim and Rob have personal experience with owning Subarus also helped us feelcomfortable with our decision to buy a Subaru. Overall, we feel we got a solid deal and a great value for our new car dollars! Jim and Rob spent time with us, let us get to know and enjoy the vehicle, and never played games. We felt like we were in capable hands from the moment we walked in the door. Thank you for a great car buying experience! We will definitely recommend Folger Subaru to anyone looking for a new car!
