Everything about my buying experience with Westside Kia was excellent starting with my trade right down to picking up the keys to my new Kia Niro Wave. My wife and I were very pleased with how our sales representative Rick Hall took very care of us and he stood by his word when he said it was going to be this for the deal it was. We live a 1 1/2 hrs representative Rick Hall took very care of us and he stood by his word when he said it was going to be this for the deal it was. We live a 1 1/2 hrs away from the dealership and when we got there it literally took only a hour to test drive and sign paperwork and we were on our way back home with our new Kia Sorento! Very please and appreciate of Mr. Rick Hall for taking care of us when we needed it. More

Below is the summary of my service experience with Westside KIA and the issues they caused. I hope by providing this review, potential customers will avoid this dealership altogether. On 12/1/2022, I Westside KIA and the issues they caused. I hope by providing this review, potential customers will avoid this dealership altogether. On 12/1/2022, I worked with Sebastian Flores (who has been great through this process) and the dealership I purchased my car through to have a new seat cover for the driver's side bottom portion of the seat paid for and ordered. The bottom seat cover was being replaced due to scratches caused by the dealership I purchased my Stinger from (Not Westside KIA) On 1/6/2023, I dropped off my KIA Stinger to have the driver's side bottom seat leather replaced. After picking up my Stinger, I noticed there was an indentation in the leather on the bottom right bolster. It seems the cushioning behind the leather was nicked during the removal of the original seat cover. Additionally, I noticed two big scratches on the plastic below my arm rest. This was caused by improper removal of the seat. If you look at the original seat cover with the scratches on it there is no indentation on it. After noticing this, I contacted Sebastian Flores and had a service appointment scheduled to have these issues resolved. On 2/17/2023, I dropped off my KIA Stinger for most of the day. After being told my car was ready and coming to pick it up, I was notified that no work was done because the Service Manager, Matt Reck, and the district representative said the replaced seat cover was "within standards" for KIA. After this, I had a phone conversation with Matt Reck and was told again that this was "within standards" and if they "replaced the seat cover 30 times" it would still have the issue I was describing. I was also told by Matt Reck that, "I am the only person that would notice this", which was very condescending and unprofessional. At the end of the useless conversation with Matt, I was told to open a KIA Customer Care Case which I did. After working with my case manager and providing all the information to KIA, they determined this was not a warranty related issue (It was never a warranty related issue in the first place) and it was the responsibility of the dealership to fix the issue. On 3/17/2023, I unfortunately had another conversation with Matt Reck who again told me the seat was "within standards" and there was nothing more they would do for me. He even told me my original seat cover had the indentation already in it which was a complete lie. He did inform me I could “pay them to have it looked at again”. Additionally, when I pointed out the scratches on the plastic below my armrest, he said he “didn’t see them at my service appointment on 2/17/2023 so they couldn’t have caused them”. What’s surprising to me is I provided pictures of what the seat and the plastic below my armrest looked like before the seat cover was replaced and they still won’t take responsibility for their shoddy service and the damage they caused. Since my call on 3/17/2023, I have been trying to reach the general manager of Westside Kia, Caitlin Auffenberg, to talk with her about my service issue. I have left several voicemails and have not once been contacted which shows she doesn’t care about her customers. Summary: Do not use this dealership for warranty work or any kind of service. The service manager, Matt Reck, is completely unprofessional and won’t take responsibility for the subpar work performed by the service technicians. Additionally, the general manager, Caitlin Auffenberg, doesn’t care about her customers. She will avoid your calls and won’t call you back after leaving several voicemails. More
