We contacted the Westdale Used Car Center where one of them was located, & asked if they would be willing to bring the second up from Coralville so we didn't have to make two different trips. They obliged without hesitation. After a closer look at both vehicles, we decided they weren't for us & we wanted to keep shopping around. Dewey was the salesman that helped us (as soon as we arrived). We looked at several different vehicles (I'd say 8-10) & Dewey was extremely patient & helpful during the entire time. We asked lots of questions & he answered them friendly & politely. He gave us his honest opinion on some of the vehicles as well. He worked with out budget & what we could realistically afford, putting together a "shopping list" of the different vehicles that matched our requests & wants. After much time & energy, he mentioned one more vehicle that was located at another McGrath dealership on the north side of town. He drove us (& our two children) there, just so we could look at it, then we test drove it back to Westdale. After everything was said & done, we fell in love with the 2014 Chevy Traverse & drove home in it that evening. Dewey was outstanding; he went above & beyond what you would typically expect from a car salesman & I cannot say enough good things about him (or the entire experience). Irfan Saves the Day!! I was car shopping online, looking for an SUV, when I came across a Jeep that I wanted to test drive. The original salesman informed me the vehicle would be at the Westdale site for me to test drive 9am Saturday morning. When I arrived at the location, I was told that the vehicle was unavailable. This was not the way to start the experience as it felt like setup simply to lure in business. I began working with Irfan and told him what price range and vehicle style I was looking for and to research as quickly as he could because I was ready to drive to Dubuque from Cedar Rapids to look at different vehicles. Irfan, to his credit, found a number of comparable vehicles and we test drove an Equinox which worked perfectly to meet our request. Had Irfan not worked diligently to find this vehicle, I would have shopped elsewhere. I would recommend him for his excellent customer service! More
