Roy and the West Hills Kia Team did more than take care of me during this tough time, they treated me like family. I can personally say they genuinely care about people and that you have the best car buying experience. I had actually managed to avoid buying a car for most of my adult life and was not at all thrilled with it became apparent that my truck had finally hit that point where repairing it was counterproductive. I worked with Roy Velasquez, who was recommended by a good friend. Roy was extremely attentive, answering text messages long after the dealership had closed for the evening and answering all of my *many* questions. I bought a used Kia Soul and am tardy on this review because I've spent all my time driving around, delighting in the fact that I have a reliable, fun, car for the first time in many years. I would definitely recommend Roy; he's a straight-shooter and a very attentive sales rep. Thanks also to Chris Rembaugh. Both worked with me to find a car in my price range that would give me everything I needed. More
Amazing sales crew, great customer service I am 22 with not that great of credit,I wasn't trading anything in, couldn't put any money down, most I could pay a month was 230, and I was a first t I am 22 with not that great of credit,I wasn't trading anything in, couldn't put any money down, most I could pay a month was 230, and I was a first time buyer, so with all of that against me I went in to look at getting a lease. Needless to say I did not qualify because my credit score was only 588 but my salesman Roy jumped through flaming hoops to get me the car of my dreams that I ended up buying. He was the first person I talked to upon walking in the first day( this took 3 days start to finish) which shortly after I got there he had a prior appointment so his coworker Josh took over and we drove a few cars, he was also super nice but Roy was the one I spent the next two days with trying and trying to figure out a way to get me into a car which every bank except for one denied me for. In the end he took amazing care of me, him, I, and I'm sure half of the Kia staff were all laughing and joking around through out all three days, but Roy really did make it his goal not only to sell me a car but to make sure my first car buying experience was one to remember in a very very good way. I would recommend him to even strangers on the streets. More
Best Buying Experience Ever I came into the dealership thinking I would just get my Sedona fixed. I had backed into my garage and broke the driver's side mirror. I had seen the Sportage out on the road and rather fancied the new look. Our needs had changed since we had leased the Sedona, I asked if I could get into a Sportage. From the get go, Roy V. was the most understanding and knowledgeable guy ever! He showed me all the features and how they worked. I wanted that car! We went for a test drive and I was sold! Thank you so much Heather! Next, when I arrived I was cheerfully greeted by Roy, the most helpful car salesman, that patiently showed me the vehicles I desired to look at and test drive. Thank you so much Roy! Followed up by Matt, the finance guy, who helped me finish up the paperwork and get me out of the door in record time. Thank you so much Matt! The barista there was most helpful as well but I do not recall her name but thank you for the delicious coffee drink she made me! BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE !!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you give the staff at WEST HILLS KIA, an opportunity to work with you in the purchase of a new or used vehicle!! I did not I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you give the staff at WEST HILLS KIA, an opportunity to work with you in the purchase of a new or used vehicle!! I did not have reliable transportation and desperately needed a used car. Let me say this before I go on. I have purchased many cars over the years and have come to hate, no, despise the prospect of the hassle, the haggling, while the offers go from where I am to an unknown "offer wizard" which wastes an enormous amount of unproductive time. Then after the final offer, into financing you go. this is where you really get screwed. If you have been there, you know. Say "Yeah" Bro. Didn't happen at West Hills Kia. There were challenges which I knew about before, Roy Velaquez (very knowledgeable and personable) worked on finding an appropriate vehicle, while Carl and Shawn (both also knowledgeable,personable, and tenacious) secured financing. Although that was easy to say, these guys worked diligently and did not give up! They worked through challenge after challenge and did secure financing!!! I had planned on getting a cheap, high mileage, OLD car for a low price. I am now the very happy owner of a 2015 Mitsubishi, low miles, VERY FAIR PRICE!! Roy had in-depth knowledge of all of the workings of the Soul and was able to instruct me on the use of all of the different controls. He was always friendly and courteous. He greeted me each time that I came into the store. I initially met with Heather and she was very pleasant and courteous to deal with. I don't think you can beat the dealership! The Finance Mgr, Matt, did a great job in explaining all of the documents and answered all of my questions so that I could understand what I was dealing with. No sales tactics, just raised the possibility of getting a new car for less than I was currently paying. One thing led to another and I wound up letting my sweet little 2012 Forte, which I love, go for a new 2016 Forte in the color I REALLY wanted in the first place. AND, truly, for less a month than I was paying. EVERYONE was outstanding- from the second I walked in the door. Thank you all. Roy Velasquez is a gem. More
