Our team works extremely hard to make sure our customers leave happy and satisfied with the service we provide. Working with Manufacturer's requirements can be frustrating at times. Unfortunately, when GM requires a 90,000 transmission service we, nor a franchise store, can make GM change their rules for us. I do understand, from our records, that we did provide you a transmission service, at no charge, in effort to help you out. Concerning the comment, from the sales manager, we sincerely apologize and want you to know that this store has a new sales manager that is there to ensure the best customer service possible. For the record there was never any offer to or a transmission service provided to us and even if there would have been it would not have changed the fact that the transmission had to be replaced. When I sat down to discuss the purchase of this car from your facility we were told that it had an extensive service check done and passed in order to qualify for the lifetime warranty that was part of the sales pitch and ultimately what convinced us to purchase the car from you. Who would have thought that we could not trust the sales manager or the finance manager at their word and would have had to have spent several hundreds of dollars for a transmission service as well as other suggested services before the first oil change? Changing a manager or being the 4th or 5th person to say they are sorry does nothing to repair the damage done from your owner down. To insult me and offer pennies towards a 4700.00 repair bill and to sit across the table and tell me that this is the way business is done today is exactly the impression left on me for your entire organization and I hope that others will heed my warnings and think twice before signing on the dotted line. There was one other offer put on the table to resolve our issue, trade us out of the vehicle into a newer and obviously more expensive vehicle which would have cost me an additional 13000 dollars. The manager through his entire bag of used car salesman tricks at us to "help us" but because I wasn't willing to absorb the extra financial burden the owner felt like that was not the way to go. Thank you for all of your "customer service" you showed us within the first 6 months of our first AND LAST purchase we will ever make at West Coast Auto Dealers. I'm not even sure I mentioned how incompetent your service department is but I'm sure if you reread the first post you can see it for yourself.
