They reassured us they checked it out but there was string holding it together. Bought a used suburban last year, put 10,000ish miles on it. Now it’s in the shop, and the mechanic could not believe he found it with a string on it to make it work. And because it was not working properly it has caused more problems. We called Wendel and got a run around, transferring us from one dept to the next. No one could say anything. They never even asked for our name! There was no good will, you should check your records better. You tried to sell it with bad breaks and rotors. And the fluid need changed on transmission. Upon buying it you agreed to do that. Fours days later I was stranded with my kids because the battery was bad, date on it was two years expired! All stuff you should have done with your inspection! So there was no good gestures except you did pay for the battery. The fact you “swindled” us! Yes it was as is, but you told us you do a very through inspection of your trade in. The string on the oil pressure sending unit should have been seen, unless you did it. Alex Sanchez did everything to get our business but acted like he didn't know us when we bought the vehicle. We got two keys that didn't work to begin with and all they could say is sorry about your bad luck like he didn't know us when we bought the vehicle. Would not support help with a Lemon SUV- Buyers Beware! My wife and I had an unfortunate transaction with Wendle Ford where we were met with deception and arrogance. The deception started after the sale as My wife and I had an unfortunate transaction with Wendle Ford where we were met with deception and arrogance. The deception started after the sale as we met with a finance representative. While meeting with the financial manager he stated that we had to signup for an extended warrantee that day. He only presented us with the top three most expensive options then said it wouldn’t be offered again. We asked him repeatedly if we had to make the decision that day and he continued to say we did. After researching extended warranties from home that evening we found this not to be true. The next morning we cancelled the warrantee with the head financial manager who supported his manager and his actions. This is a systemic problem of upper managements approval of deceptive sales practices. The problems didn’t stop there. We discovered a vibration caused by a defective rear axle/rear end. After several attempts of Wendle Service to fix the vibration (wheel balancing) and assurance from both service managers and an owner that the problem was fixed, the vibration persisted. We were left to figure out the problem ourselves because Wendle Service gave up. We had to take the car to a reputable Ford/Lincoln Dealer to aid in the process which ended in fulfilling the Lemon Law requirements. Please remember that advertisements are just advertisements. We returned a few days later with my husband who is the main driver of the truck, for him to test drive the truck we had chosen. Ben was very informative about the truck, from the design of the truck, type of engine, sound system, braking systems, towing capabilities, and benefits of each. Ben worked hard with the finance department to make sure we had financing we were comfortable with. He introduced us to Kevin Parker from the finance department who took the time to go through all of the paper work with us.. He made sure we knew what each protection item was and how long it would be in place. He also made sure we knew what our costs all were and got the loan from STCU for us. Gave us all the info for regestering the truck in Idaho. He took care of informing the service department of the extra items we added. Thank you so much for a wonderful and pleasant experiance We will recomend Ben whenever we have friends looking for a new vehicle. More
