In recent years I unexpectedly encountered a lot of health problems which resulted in me completely losing my income for a time. That inevitably led to damage to my credit. I worked to repair my credit for awhile before trying to purchase a vehicle but unfortunately that left me with no credit history which is almost harder to work with. He advocated for me with the financing manager and we ultimately got me approved through VW financing directly at a very reasonable rate, especially considering my challenging circumstances. I went with my service dog and he was quick to offer water for both me and her, which while a small kindness, I really appreciated. He’s a very kind and welcoming person and made the car buying experience truly painless. I also enjoyed the test drive where he shared some about him moving here from Germany and about his cats. Test drives can be very awkward but he made sure it wasn’t like that at all. I had found the perfect Golf for me on their website that was priced very competitively compared to other dealerships in the area so I knew before even going in that it was exactly what I wanted. Because of that, there wasn’t really too much shopping to be done so I can’t speak to how this location is about helping you find a car that fits your specific needs if you’re less decided going into it. However, I will say that the ad and photographs were very thorough and accurate so I had no surprises once I went to see the vehicle in person. I was able to put a small deposit down the same day to hold the car while we sorted out the financing. It took about a week to do that and I’d initially gone in late in the afternoon on a Friday. Bottom line: I’d highly recommend anyone looking for a Volkswagen go to Wellesley VW and even more importantly ask to work with Jens if he's available. More

Although understaffed on the afternoon we came in, the GM introduced himself and apologize for the delay. We gave him the stock # we wanted to see and the car was pulled up + warmed up immediately. From there, Jens Albrecht took over, quickly getting us in the car to test drive it. Jens got us a very favourable lease quote and was able to push further to get us in our range with $0 down. With two and half hours to close, we asked if we could drive away the same day. Jens and the team at VW ran around like mad men to get us the financing, insurance, plates, registration, inspection, detailing and a gas tank all under 2 hours, allowing us to drive away that same afternoon. I can't say enough good things about VW Wellesley, Jens and the entire team there. More

I first visited another dealership closer to home regarding a 2017 GTI and that experience was unexpectedly horrible. I am an enthusiast and own several vehicles which get swapped frequently so I am quite familiar with the process. My experience with Marc on the other hand exceeded my expectations. He is polite, courteous, took the time to explain everything, allowed me to test fit the rear-facing child seat in the car, went for a test drive... After taking so much of his time, he was not pushy at all. In addition, he himself owns a GTI, which is always a plus. I was also very impressed with the sales manager Ray Hovsepian. Rather than pressure tactics, the approach at this dealership is to provide excellent customer service to make a sale. The entire experience was great and I highly recommend you to go see Marc if you are considering a VW. More

TIme and time again, my research brings me back to VWs, in my case the wagons. My last car was a Jetta Sportwagen TDI which I enjoyed driving but I was eligible to turn it in under the VW buyback program. I then started looking for a replacement and settled on the Golf Alltrack. After deciding on the trim line, I called around to various dealerships and asked for a quote. Wellsley VW made the shortlist based on the quoted price and the experience on the phone. I also had previous experience with them in getting my Passat wagon serviced there. I had found them to be a reputable dealer. I stopped in and met with Kevin Mullin. I found him to be very pleasant to deal with and very knowledgeable of the VW line. They had a car I wanted in inventory and we negotiated a price that I thought was very fair after having done my research. I arranged for my own financing. My car was to be registered out of state which involved some extra work for Kevin. He took on the task of ensuring that all the paperwork was in order for transferring my previous paperwork and that there would be no hitches in me picking up my car. My car was ready a day before I had planned to pick it up. Driving it has been a real pleasure, with all the amenities I wanted and a few bonus amenities. Upon delivery, Kevin really took the time to go over the car with me to ensure that I was familiar with all the features. Even after owning several VWs, I learned several things about the cars that I previously wasn't aware of. It made me appreciate even more the engineering and thought that goes into these cars. More
