Volvo service awesome in getting you in and out! I went in to Volvo for routine maintenance. Melissa called me to let me know when my vehicle was going to be ready. It was ready when I arrived and I I went in to Volvo for routine maintenance. Melissa called me to let me know when my vehicle was going to be ready. Service call for a leak in the washer fluid tank I had my Volvo S-80 to the dealership for a complete service on Dec 10, 2016. Picked up my car later in the afternoon and the Service Tech had no co I had my Volvo S-80 to the dealership for a complete service on Dec 10, 2016. Picked up my car later in the afternoon and the Service Tech had no complaints with the Car. Changed all the fluids, changed my head light (which was burned out) and I was not supposed to visit them again until Dec 10, 2017 or 8,000 miles, which ever came first. Good to go, right...Wrong. I got home and parked the car in the Garage. Later in the evening I go back into the Garage and notice a puddle of washer fluid on the floor. Following the weekend I call back the dealership and they claim ignorance..by saying "No idea what you are talking about". Got busy with the holidays and got an appointment for the Dec 26, 2016. The tech claimed to know what was wrong and mentioned that it would be at least a 3 hour job and has promised us a loaner car. I got to the dealership at my appointed time and the tech I talked to was not available. The alternate tech wanted to get the ball rolling and suggested that I wait for 20 min and they could figure out what was wrong and there would be no need for loaner car. By the time I signed the work order it was now wait for 45 min. and we will figure out if you need a loaner. An hour later, the alternate tech wouldn't even make eye contact. I talked to another tech and explained my problem and she immediately arranged for a loaner so I could get to my other chores for the day. I wasted 1 hour and 30 min to compensate for the alt technician. The service men totally missed the boat and it was a $370.00 job to get the leak fixed. Following paying the unexpected exuberant tab for the service, I got to my car and as I about to pull out of the drive way there was another message on my dash board saying I need to change the battery for my remote key. That was another chunk of change to get that changed. These techs are not professional. They are clueless and someone needs to educate them on customer service. More
