I was beyond disappointed and completely tuned off from Volvo due to these awful experiences with the dealers. I had new appointments set to instead lease the Lexus IS 250 purely due to being disgusted with Volvo dealers I dealt with. My last attempt was Tony at Ft. Washington Volvo. Dealing with him and the dealership was honestly night-and day from everywhere else I had been to. He was patient, kind, actually listened to what I asked for, went above and beyond to negotiate and get me the EXACT car I wanted with the exact features and never once curved ball or added a price to things. He kept things clear and concise and answered all my many questions in a timely manner. He was never once was pushy about the sale either, and went over every detail in the contract to make sure I clearly understood. I really appreciated that. I LOVE my new car and even after the purchase Tony has been incremental in making sure everything was going ok and being there for questions. More

This is my second car I bought from FW Volvo. I used Scott Marziani both times. He got the carss for me quickly and spent time teaching me all of the new gadgets each time I went to puck the car up. They have offered value and selection and have always closed sales with me in a manner that is always fair and reasonable. I have referred many colleagues and friends to Mark and Kevin. They have all agreed that what is offered is what is delivered. There was never a question that when they went, my referrals would have my experience everytime. I purchased brand new 2011 XC60 “R-Design” from this dealership. The car was serviced 6 months later to fix clogged sunroof drain, which was causing rainwater to leak into the car through driver-side do dealership. The car was serviced 6 months later to fix clogged sunroof drain, which was causing rainwater to leak into the car through driver-side door gasket. The car was fixed, water tested and given back to me unwashed, with dried-up water stains inside and outside, with not fully installed door gasket and best of all - cracked headliner. The headliner got cracked when contrary to what was indicated in service description “cleared sunroof drains” (plural), which required taking the entire headliner off, only one front driver-side drain got cleared after pulling down one corner of the headliner, which cracked it. ----- Two months later, the car was serviced again to revisit clogged sunroof drains. This time the leak was much greater and after taking wetted headliner off, a pinched sunroof drain-hose that was causing all the leaks was finally found. How I was mislead to accept replacing cracked headliner with another one taken from a “demo” car (something that I found out when requested a list of ordered parts after the major leak occurred) and my battle with the dealership after the major leak to have “wet-demo” version replaced with a brand new headliner are subjects for another review. ----- Now, three services down to find pinched drain hose, my 8-months old “R-Design” car has its third but brand new headliner courtesy of Corporate Volvo since the dealership is “not in a position to take any financial loss” (I quoted dealership’s management). My romance with the dealership is over for good. More

We have owned new and pre-owned cars and must say that all were in excellent condition and flawlessly checked and prepped prior to delivery. The service department, and Eric in particular, has always been very helpful. They inform you in advance on the approximate time to repair my car, and offer a loaner if necessary. Last winter, when I couldn't pick up a car due to the snow storms, they delivered it back to me! I am very happy with my Volvos, I won't let my kids drive anything else, and would not consider another dealer other than Volvo of Fort Washington. More
This is my second Volvo. The first (2007 XC90) was bought at another dealership who abruptly sold and moved out of the area a few months later. As a result we learned of Volvo of Fort Washington thru the service department when we brought the XC90 in for service. The Service Department is exceptional. It was one of several reasons why we decided to visit this dealership for a replacement vehicle when we decided to downsize to a sedan. Another reason was our sales person Dennis Dischinger. Low key and totally knowledgable about the vehicle (S-60 T5) we were looking to lease. No pressure but offered guidance when asked for. The right mix to help my wife and I pick the appropriate car for our needs. We talked with Kevin Whalen (Sales Manager) as well. Both made the experience a joy. I have purchased many cars in my years of driving. This was the most relaxed experience in all those years. . I have never felt more confident in the selection of this dealership. I knew the SEvice Department, the sales staff was exceptional and genuine. Dennis and Kevin answered my questions and e-mails relating to financing, differences between the T6 and T5 as well as what would be the best options to select to meet our needs and stay within our budget. The trade in was more than fair and the financing options were presented by Dennis in a straight manner without hiding any of the factors that went into the calculations. This dealership truly appreciates their customers as evidenced by the way they positively greeted me each time I stepped into the showroom, the straight answers to my numerous questions and the follow up throughout the purchasing process. My wife and I looked at the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, Acura TSX, Maxima and Volks CC and decided on the S-60 T5. None of them could offer the options packages , appearance and the value we got with the Volvo. Don't get me wrong they are good quality cars but we felt more confident in the Volvo and particularly this dealership. In addition we felt a sense of trust in working with Volvo of Fort Washington as a result of our interactions with Dennis and Kevin and our past experience with the Service Team. I have no doubt that these sales professionals are sincere and can be trusted to deliver on what they say. Picked up the car and could not be happier with our decision. He took the time to understand what we were looking for in a pre-owned vehicle (condition, features, etc) and gave us his certified pre-owned XC90. At one point we were going to keep looking at other dealerships because the one XC90 we settled on lacked the headrest DVD system. Dennis engaged Paul Glanzmann, the Used Car Manager, and together they came up with a solution that worked for us and result in a sale. We had been to other dealerships in PA and NJ during this car buying process.
