STAY CLEAR So I wanted to take a moment and share my experiences purchasing a 'used' car from Volvo of Fort Washington. I can't use the term 'certified pre-owned So I wanted to take a moment and share my experiences purchasing a 'used' car from Volvo of Fort Washington. I can't use the term 'certified pre-owned' for a few reasons that I will get into below. First off, they could not locate a second key and downplayed the situation and suggested I go to a dealership to simply pick one up. $400 later I had one after making a $40k+ investment on a car. Second, the detailing efforts were subpar at best. My Audi Q7 had a third row seat and after unveiling it, I found pretzels and M&Ms under the seats and a nice dust film throughout. It leads me to believe the staff wasn't very familiar with the car and it's inter-workings. Lastly, when I secured my second key on my own dime, I had the dealer look into a constant rattling coming from the back. It was located in the sunroof and addressed through the warranty and then they uncovered more rattling coming from the rear hatch. Its believed through troubleshooting and discovery that my car has been in a body shop previously based on comparing the rear panel (when opened) with a similar year Q7. Unfortunately, these repairs will not be covered under warranty because someone has been dishonest during the process and now I have to look into some potential welding repairs to resolve the issue. All of this with a clean car fax and a trusted previous single owner through the General Manager at Volvo. I would stay clear of buying any car from this dealer as they dismissed my communications about this situation quickly. All I wanted them to do was look into the situation as they had more purview in this situation than most dealers given the circumstances, but they lost a customer for good. To sum it up, they are cheap, dismissive, and lazy. If you are looking for the typical run-of-the-mill sales guy with no back bone to stand up to the GM and do what's right and look out for their customers (beyond the date of transaction), than this is the dealership for you. 1/2 star out 5 for sheer sympathy for Scott the sales guy and pure disgust for the GM. Every time we drop our car off it comes back with the problem being amplified and a new scratch, scuff, scrap, or dent. I finally had enough and reported it through management. They informed me that they cannot take responsibility for this but they will have the car buffed and detailed to remove the scratches. We received our car back with none of the scratches removed, instead they used a black magic marker to fill in some of the deeper scratches. I again complained and I received the following response " I have spoken with Paul our GM and Mike our service manager about this issue. We've reviewed our policies and procedures and believe that our service personnel has followed the proper guidelines. Therefore, we have come to the conclusion that we are afraid that we will be unable to meet your expectations and feel that it might be in your best interest to explore other local service facilities." That is directly from management at Volvo of Fort Washington. What great customer service!!! -- The only thing I wanted was to have my car properly serviced and the scratches and dents that they put in my car removed and they are refusing to take responsibility. So buyers beware Volvo is a great car but do not buy from this dealer. More

Apart from the fact that I got an EXCEPTIONAL deal, The car is still in excellent condition. I thank the dealer for any inspections/maintenance provided to the car prior to my ownership. I have waited a while to write a review, which I regret, as I am not sure it will reach the employees who made the purchase such a pleasant experience. Mark Klevence was the helpful, humorous, friendly, respectful, and attentive salesperson who assisted me in the consideration of and decision to to buy my car, which I'm now convinced is the absolute perfect car for me. Mark was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions along with presenting me with valuable information I did not think to ask. His effort in being professional and courteous made me feel welcomed and comfortable at the dealer. It was a portion of the afternoon well spent! He called to follow up and we had another nice conversation. I really appreciated this excellent customer service. Amar Patel helped with the finances. He was so patient, amiable, considerate, and respectful of my time. He walked me through everything with no stress and congratulated me on my purchase. Service Above and Beyond I recently received a 2016 Volvo XC60 as commercial fleet vehicle through my company for work. This Volvo was order and delivered to me from a Volvo dealer in Illinois. When the car was delivered to me, I was literally handed the keys and the delivery person left, without telling me anything about this car. With all the new features of this car, I was overwhelmed, so I went to the nearest Volvo dealership (Volvo of Ft. Washington) explained my situation and asked if someone could teach me how to operate this car. I was greeted by several gentlemen and was assisted by Mike Marziani. Mike was very patience with me, as I was very clueless about the car. He went over all of the features of the car, paired both of my cellphones, finished removing the plastic from the outside, set up the manual and inserted the floor maps. Mike really went above and beyond and treated me as if I was his own customer. I would highly recommend by Mike and Volvo of Ft. Washington to anyone. When ever possible, I will bring my vehicle to this location for service. More
