What a wonderful experience from the team at Herb Gordon! I was looking for a Volvo at an agressive price point and was unable to find one after several months of searching. Brian suggested a car that I felt would be a compromise but as Kelly Rogers and I looked at it and dialogued what I was compromising, I realized that the compromises were very manageable. Brian closed the transaction. I need to recognize the professionalism of Kelly. I honestly don't think I would own this car if it weren't for the time and approach she used. She just sat with me in the car as I worked through if that particular car was the right fit for me. Her calm and through approach is what sold me that car. Brian was friendly and full of positive energy which broke some of the nervousness of a big purchase. When Brian became distracted, Ed Sarecky spent time with me in conversation about Volvo. This was nice not to be left alone. But the icing in the cake was when I returned for service on a scheduled day and my appointment hadn't been made. Once Alan Hanon got wind of this, he bolted into action. Never a question for me, he just solved the problem by scheduling my car, by getting me a loaner even when they were out, and by stepping me through the entire process personally. When I returned, he took over 45 minutes of his time to step through the features of my 'bare basic' car with the attention and focus as though I purchased the most expensive car in the lot. He made me feel that I was the most important customer he had. I've been in sales and understand the value of customer satisfaction. But, Alan and Kelly went well beyond and exceeded my expectations. I couldn't have had a more positive experience. This is the first Volvo I have owned, I don't think I will ever drive another brand. I live in a large community and have shared my experience with multiple neighbors. I will recommend Herb Gordon and Alan to everyone anyone looking for a car. We had decided on one vehicle but after searching the internet while at the dealership for comparisons we located a vehicle at another dealership that had the color and features that we wanted. We explained this to the GM who upon learning what our requirements were; located a vehicle meeting those requirements at his dealership. The salesperson and GM did not prolong the process with us with pricing back and forth. We asked them for their best price, and Mr. Sarecky, the GM provided us with an excellent price, and we elected to purchase the vehicle at Herb Gordon. In addition to getting everything we required in the vehicle, it saved us a trip to another location and impressed us the Mr. Sarecky was willing to work with us to obtain our business. Mr. Sarecky provided us with exceptional service and went beyond our expectations in providing us with exceptional value for our purchase. Our time at the dealership was not prolonged by unnecessary waiting, but the entire process was completed in a timely manner. The salesperson Mr. Thomas took time to provide us with all the pertinent information about the vehicle we purchased and provided an in-depth demonstration of the vehicle's functions. This is the 3rd Volvo I have purchased from here. I get my service done here too. I have never had a bad experience. Brian was great to work with, he answered all of my questions in email and I was in and out of the dealer in about 30 minutes. I think that was the fastest so far.
