Within minutes, Alan and Neil both understood what I was looking for and provided great options. They both took great care to show me all the various models and articulated the benefits of each. It was a great experience and within a half-hour I made a decision to purchase a vehicle and have been very happy with the decision to buy my first Volvo, and certainly not my last, from a dealership that treats its customers with professionalism, care and courtesy. Once we made our first offer, the sales manager Alan Hannon was brought over to close discussion. This is so much better than the back-and-forth we have all experienced. They invited us to have a catered lunch with the sales staff, while we were waiting for the paperwork to be completed. We were out of the dealership in 2 hours from test drive to driving off. The total package is very attractive. The Volvo service contract was one extra, and it pays for all scheduled maintenance. It was about $1500. While you have the car in (even if you don't buy that package), you get a free loaner--a big plus. We will not hesitate to purchase our next Volvo there! More

We bought cars initially from Ben, I think his name was, who then went on to working on internet sales and then left..we were very sad..he was a big asset to the company.. very nice for sales and drove our car from Balto. to dealership for service..very polite. He runs the Volvo dealership and he could not have been easier to deal with. I didn't know if I wanted an SUV or a Sedan, to lease or to buy. Ed sat down with me and explained the pros and cons of both and I ended up getting a great deal on a S80 Sedan. We also talked about different cars and dealerships and Ed was very honest and not pushy about giving me his opinion...... After we decided to get the S80 he then put me through to Kelly Rogers who drew up the lease and made the process very easy. I love the car even though it has about 70 gadgets I haven't figured out yet. I would recommend Herb Gordon Volvo to anyone and specifically Ed Sarecky. He made the entire process not only tolerable, but actually enjoyable. More
