Hello Anthony, Here at Union VW, we strive to deliver an enjoyable purchase experience to each and every customer. Needless to say, I was very concerned to learn of your dissatisfaction. It is also disappointing that from the time Dealer Rater first informed me of your dissatisfaction – to the date your Review went “Live” (a period of 2 weeks), you didn’t respond to my repeated contact attempts to assist you. In response to your concerns: I verified that the VW Corporate Vehicle Incentive offer (0% financing) did change between the time that you first decided to purchase a specific color Jetta GLI you requested, to when that color actually became available for us to locate/obtain and deliver to you. Unfortunately automobile manufacturer incentives are based on actual vehicle delivery date and do change from month-to-month. Automobile dealerships have no control over the manufacturer incentive effective dates. We also do not have the ability to extend manufacturer incentive offers from one month to the next. Regarding the $899 paint protection charge you mentioned. You were actually charged only $299. I have also confirmed that we did not have the vehicle color you requested in stock (despite what may or may not have been reflected on our website); which required us to locate the vehicle for you – which you agreed to. This explains why the vehicle you took delivery of had 81 miles on it – given it had to be driven from the “Locate Dealership”, to our Dealership. I can assure you that if we had your vehicle color in stock, we would have immediately sold/delivered it to you – while VW still had the 0% financing in place. Regarding the “Buyers Order” Contract. We do in fact give everyone a copy. And had you advised us that you didn’t want to move forward with the purchase (prior to us actually locating/purchasing the vehicle for you), we would have honored your request, and refunded your deposit. Given the 0% financing was no longer available from Volkswagen. It was necessary to increase the number of finance months in an attempt to lower your monthly payment amount for you – to be at approximately the same dollar amount as if it had been financed at 0% (rather than your actual 1.65%). Our website does not include an “In Transit” comment field, so unfortunately I don’t know where you may have seen that the color vehicle you wanted was en route (or at) our dealership? I don’t know what you mean by “almost forced” to buy protection which you did not need. As you decided to purchase the “Tire & Wheel” protection @ $899.00, “Ding & Shield” protection @ $500, and “Zxilon” paint protection guarantee @ $299.00. As I previously offered, please let me know if you want to cancel any of the above protection items. We will then contact the vendors on your behalf, to initiate the refund process, for the unused term.
