Autobarn was gracious enough to send someone to pick me up at O'Hare(Peter, a very knowledgeable, personable mechanic for the dealership ) to pick me up and he is a great ambassador for the brand. Robert met me when I arrived and had the car pulled up. He let me take my time, thoroughly reviewed the car and answered my questions. The experience was top notch and I purchased the car. Autobarn has a culture of customer service and this included everyone I met throughout the purchasing experience, starting with Robert from the internet beginning to the conclusion and the dealer financing which beat my pre-arranged credit union option which I was planning on utilizing. So, when the time came to sit with salesman Allen Mando at Autobarn Volkswagen of Mount Prospect to purchase a very slightly used Jetta, it was nice to see that the negative expectations that I had were not borne out. He was respectful, courteous and considerate of the many concerns that I had, and he followed through on a few of the minor commitments made as part of the deal without me having to "get it in writing." As well, the experience with finance manager Adam Hernandez was very pleasant. They both were very professional, and there were no high-pressure tactics. Great Experience I recently walked into the dealership to have my Jetta serviced and I instantly fell in love with a 2013 Beetle Fender Edition in the showroom. Chris Krause worked with me to get it out for a test drive and it was AMAZING! The only hitch was that my wife cannot drive a manual.
