I walked in to the place and was attended in less than 5 minutes. They asked me about my type of car and preferences and showed me different models for test drive. They told me right from the beginning that they will make it work. Totally different from other dealerships like Toyota for example where they had me waiting for 3 hours, then asked me for my social security number to check my credit before even asked me about the type of car I wanted. Autobarn Volskwagen of Mt. Prospect treated me in a very personable way and they made sure I was completely satisfied. They worked with my specific circumstances and now I am so happy and feel safe driving my new Jetta knowing for sure that I will be their customer for ever! More

He explains everything well, wether it's regarding the vehicle, good deals, or which path to go to. He always have the best and honest suggestions/ opinions. Robert is also very good in following up after your purchase. He keeps in touch often asking if there's anything he can help you with the car. Actually, all the staff in Autobarn Mount Prospect are very friendly and welcoming. People in service department are awesome specially Karl. He is very helpful whenever we need service done with my car, and you can see that he likes and enjoys his job. All in all, it was great experience as usual. That's why we keep coming back to them. While I didn't have to buy it they still rolled in a $200.00 window etching theft protection package again something that I did not need or will probably never use because I bought a $3500.00 car from them. It seems to be common practice to add in something that is not needed wherever a car is purchased in the Chicago area.What prompted me to come to the dealership was seeing the car on their website and the words thoroughly inspected and serviced. The test drive did not reveal problems that I would find out after spending time driving the car a few days. I have issue with the claim that the car was thoroughly inspected and serviced because if that had been the case the car I purchased from them would not need lower ball joints or an air bag clock spring. I now have $1000.00 in repairs that are needed from this thoroughly inspected and serviced car.Had I know these problems existed prior to purchasing it, I probably would have not done so. More
