The finance department added a 4.5k warranty on my vehicle that I was never even asked if I wanted. I was ignored over and over again until I wrote poor reviews online. It's now been 11 months since I bought my vehicle and I just found out that I was lied to even more than I already thought. I was obligated to purchase PermaPlate coverage and was explicitly told it covered both internal and external damage. I filed a claim and was told I do not have interior coverage. I am absolutely livid!!! I have been calling the dealership for over a week and am no closer to a resolution. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. Do not purchase or service your vehicle with the Chicago downtown VW. Ive had nothing but problems with my BRAND NEW 23 Tiguan SEL R Line. They started within a few weeks of ownership. Every time i go into downtown VW. Ive had nothing but problems with my BRAND NEW 23 Tiguan SEL R Line. They started within a few weeks of ownership. Every time i go into service, it gets worse with the techs causing more damage to my vehicle. The service department has no regard for customer's time as they will never give a slightly even accurate amount of time needed to complete. Communication is another issue. They just do not communicate: Ive been without my vehicle several times for tonger periods of time and never even received a loaner, not once. Trying to work with them one more time, I reached out to the GM of the facility. The constant follgwup required is ridiculous to try and resolve my issues, which are yet to be resolved. Save some headaches, money, time, go elsewhere. They do not value their customers here. More
