When checking with other places, I only needed a sensor replaced for about $500. I literally saved $3k all in by making sure I got outside diagnosis. They wouldn't honor a misleading coupon on their website for free service light check. It apparently didnt apply and was charged $170. They previously told me I needed to replace 2 tires that couldn't be fixed, and only had premium tires available. I took them to another tire shop who showed me in person that there werent any punctures, and the nails VW Chicago said were there - were just tiny heads that never went through. More

Not a great experience, but quick resolve High pressure to purchase unnecessary maintenance. I was told my vehicle was being cleaned upon completion, and that was the reason for the delay. Service person said it would take too long to take back up and wash. Service professionals are unaware of care package I purchased. I showed proof of purchase previously. It was never noted in my account. Still tried to charge me for my oil change. Overall a horrible experience. I really do not look forward to my visits; however, since I have a lease I must visit this location. Pay attention to the fine details in the print out. Update, as soon as I posted this a manager reached out to apologize for the service experience. He spoke to all of those involved. He offered a way to resolve the situation which I appreciate. I appreciate that he took the time to ensure that I had a better experience next time. He was proactive to speak to his team. Thank you. More

Disappointing experience buying a used car The manager put us with the greenest salesman possible despite the fact that we knew exactly what we wanted. Five hours later the manager offered that a back up camera could be retrofitted and we eventually bought one of the first 3 cars we looked at. The sale took 8 hours and the car required an entire day of work in the service department. We were out of state buyers and they assured us they could get it all done on time. They didn't! The camera was not installed. The NO2 sensor was not installed. They did not tell us this would affect fuel economy! From 24.6 down to 14.4 Chicago to Lansing. Still no word on the camera. Other issues: although they claimed it didn't need a wheel alignment, the steering wheel is far from level and occludes the cruise control. Now, 2 days later, the lift gate no longer works and we told them it sounds like the hydraulics need a fix. One of 7 phone calls were returned. Still waiting! Go elsewhere! More
