The customer service was great! The facility was clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly and patient; offering detail explainations of charges, services, car features, set-up and maintenance. My experience with High Point Nissan was an interesting one. I went in to test drive a Nissan Juke. I wanted an SL model, but they only had an SV in stock. After test driving a few competitive vehicles I came back to High Point Nissan to talk about finding a car I liked better. They tried to sell me on the one they had in stock, which I expected. After I made it clear I was seeking a different model and color, they did their best to find me something that I liked. They were able to find one I was satisfied with, but it was at a dealership 300+ miles away. We did paperwork and closed the deal. On Monday, I was supposed to be called to ensure that the deal for trading with the other dealership went through. I had to call out there at 11am because no one had touched based with me yet. After an hour of waiting to receive a return call I was informed that the other dealership had sold the car out from under them. So the manager went looking for a replacement vehicle for me. He was able to find one even further away, but not one that matched my preferences. So I offered them the opportunity to sell me the one they have at a lower price. They chose not to, so we tore up the paper work and went out separate ways. Overall, despite the result, I wasn't too disappointed with the experience. One BIG issue that offended me while I was there, was that when originally trying to sell me the car they had on the lot, the salesperson played the game of having another sales person come ask who was looking at the car and then talk it up. I'm not an idiot. I don't want to be swayed or pressured into decided on something by such tactics. It was pretty insulting and generally left me with a bad taste about the process. Anyway, that was my first experience with High Point Nissan. The trade value they offered me was reasonable, but there were some things that I didn't like. I think that'd be true at most dealerships though. I would advise that they take a more honest approach to sales with customers like me. I'm willing to pay more for not having to deal with the shady salesperson tactics and cheesy lines they feed you. More
We want to take this opportunity to tell you and your associates what an enjoyable venture we had when making our recent purchase of the Nissan Murano. First of all, it is a terrific vehicle - exactly w associates what an enjoyable venture we had when making our recent purchase of the Nissan Murano. First of all, it is a terrific vehicle - exactly what we were looking for since purchasing a van six years ago. Wow! Vehicles have changed and the Nissan Murano seems to be a technological genius. And as much as we are enjoying our new vehicle, we found dealing with Todd McKenzie to have been a great experience. Todd was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and all of its features. He willingly demonstrated each and proved to be an excellent teacher. Todd and and all staff were so professional in all aspects of introducing us to the Murano and fielding our many questions. We also feel great about the deal we received. The small scratch on the dash was taken care of by replacing the molding within two days of our purchase. Todd even took the time to show us around the service area and had us take our new Murano out back to wash some bird "do" off it. We feel strongly that there were no pressure tactics applied regarding our purchase, but just honest facts and conversation. When we stopped in after our purchase, we were greeted by name and with a smile and a handshake. High Point Nissan is a place where we feel we can stop in any time to say hello or to ask questions. We look forward to dealing with service as well. Walt, please pass this note on to whomever might have interest (especially Todd and Mr. York).
